  1. is there any way to test the speed convertor? Using a volt meter possibly? Thanks Rob
  2. Hi Guys, Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have recently purchased a new stereo..... hurrrrayyy So I carefully took apart the dash board to attempt to fit the stereo myself..... i quickly realised that I needed to get a "Professional" to fit this as the speaker wires were not using the ISO convertor.... but had been chopped and crimped.... so I put the new stereo "in" but unconnected...... put the dash back together only to have no Speedo :-S I have since visited a Car Audio guy who has soted out the stereo by wiring the speakers back into an ISO convertor... so the stereo is now working AOK.... but sadly the Speedo isn't.... I have had a look at a couple of the posts about but to be honest not sure if they help or not The situation currently is that the Speedo doesn't work.... the odometer shows a value but doesn't increase..... The Speedo/Odometer convertor is made by Thor and says "S1" or "51" as a model number.... I am willing to go and see someone.... and also take my car somewhere to get sorted.... just thought I would see what you "Experts" think..... Thanks Rob

    Hi to everyone

Thanks for all the great messages...... I'll take some pics of my own soon..... although I have pics at the moment they are all Phils and I feel a bit bad as they will probably remind him of the arm and leg that I removed from him :-(
  6. Hi There, Welcome.... just bought my Supra last week also..... pics coming soon, although I think the original members already know the car as the previous owner is well know in the club. Rob
  7. Hi, Just thought i would drop a line, introducing myself. I am Rob, 30 based just outside Thame, Bucks. I have recently purchased "Phil the Fixers" Supra... and have to say that: a) pictures do not do the car justice b) the car is a credit to Phil, it is clear that Phil has put alot of thought into everything he has done with the car, nothing has been botched and the car is simply imaculate. All I can hope is that I can maintine the high level that Phil has set! Well thats my bit over! Hopefully I can meet up with some of you guys in the future. Thanks Rob
