Mine apparently could be "sticking" as my car failed to start yesterday and it was deemed to be the fuel pump! I already have a Walbro on there and want another one to be on the safe side! Cheapest i have seen is at http://www.jp4mance.co.uk for £74.00 but dont know anything about them? Does anyone have one lying about by any chance??

It doesnt seemed to be fuel starved when its driving as there is no stutters or splutters or anything like that. Whats the life of a Walbro Pump as ive already got one on the car and to be honest i dont think its very old but will have to dig out the receipt! Ive found one for £74.00 at http://www.jp4mance.co.uk but dont know if they are a trusted webpage or if anybody on here had bought anything from them before?

Oh ok understand now about the alarm issue!! Thanks! Battery was running about 12v last night and is again today and it was turning over ok so i imagine the starter motor would be ok but now you mention it im doubting it!!

An alarm issue?? And sorry to sound thick but whats an FPR im guessing the first bit is Fuel Pump........?

I went to start my car this evening at work and found that it wouldnt start!! So i joined the RAC as i then realised that my membership had run out!!! Anyway the guy turns up and after 20 mins of fiddling around and testing bits he starts it! However, he said there was no fuel pressure and that the most likely thing is that my fuel pump is sticking. Is this is a common issue as he said it would be most likely to re-occur but you just dont know when??!! Any ideas anybody or should i just change the pump?

Just had a look round and they are now selling for £400 brand new so im thinking at least around the £300 mark as i only used it a handful of times!! it has a removable inside so it can be washed or changed for a thicker one if your head doesnt quite fit right! Any interest??

I might well be as i bought my supra intending to only keep for about a year and then get something more "sensible"! However, ive grown to like it too much and want to keep it and do a bit of work on it and dont really wanna drive through the winter etc etc so need a cheap car to smoke to work!! But i was looking at jap cars as they are generally better built engines! Does it have a MOT?

As far as i know its a large but will have to check when i get home and as for price im really not sure what these go for 2nd hand?? But ill look into it!!
