Hmm just browsed through that thread!!! Seems rather a big job, dont think i really want to try that one myself!!! Any ideas of how much it would cost to have done???

Yeah unfortunately it is used daily and has never sat around for longer than a day!

I have been reading around the forum on this subject and am unsure so thought I would post this up. When I start my car from cold it puffs a little blue smoke but literally just as i start it and then it stops! I have read that if it was Valve stem seals then this puff would last for around 10 seconds so im thinking its not that? However, i have just had an oil service done on the car so i was wondering whether it could be maybe be a bit of excess oil burning off as I only ever see this blue smoke on cold start up! Any help would be much appreciated

Just had my oil service and they said that there was some oil coming from where the oil filter is, it could have not been on quite well enough or the oil filter gasket could need changing but i need to see if it continues for a few days and see what happens as its not a major leak!! Also had a small leak from an oil line apparently underneath the turbo's that looks like it sweating and hence the leak, however again can be changed quite easily! Dont know if this might be any of the problems you have but said i would let you know what happened!!!

Is it coming from the side that the oil filter is on?? If so then i have the same problem very minimal leakage but still annoying but Im getting it looked at when it goes for a service so ill try and let you know if it gets fixed!!!!

I bought a HKS BOV yesterday, however the instructions that came with it were for a Nissan Skyline so i cant exactly follow the pics!! So I was wondering if anybody can help me with pics or something about how to fir it as im unsure and also it comes with a blanking plug and i didnt know you have to blank off anything so if anybody can help it would be much appreciated!!

The pulleys seem fine, however, the fluid is a little low it seems but i dont think that will cure it completely as its not that low!! How hard are the PAS systems to bleed??? And what PAS fluid is best for them??

My power steering now makes the noise for an even longer period of time and it doesnt seem to stop until i have driven it for about 30 mins!! Is this still an air lock problem or are the barings knackered in the pump and does it need changing as the noise is quite loud??!! Any advice would be very much appreciated!!

Wonder if anyone could shed any light on this..... When i start my car the power steering whines until i have driven it for about 15 mins then it shuts up!!! Is my pump broken or is it something else and if so is it a huge issue???? Much appreciated if anyone could help!!!
