  5. Bit of advise for anyone who wants to paint there wheels black...TRY NOT TO KERB THEM!!! I found out last night that even though it is a small mark...it shows up really badly
  6. Just bought some Silkolene Pro-s 5w-40...that must be about trade price what a bargain
  7. Suppose it depends what colour you get...I was looking to maintain the bright silver finish on mine but didn't do that kind of silver only a 'dull' colour. So decided to try satin black for a change. Just depends on taste! To answer your question about the lacquer then the answer really is no...as the lacquer needs a slightly abrasive surface to stick to...the polished surface will be no good for this
  8. Running a TT at BPU...5w-40 sound about right? Just signed up to website there
  9. Had same problem with my wheels but I decided to get them powdercoated. If you get them re-polished they won't last long till they're back the exact same way. The only way I believe is keeping on top of them with some sort of good quality metal polish...and I mean keeping on top of them because the week you don't do it of 'forget' it'll be too late! get them powdercoated...far less hassle!
  10. Wow...that sure has a very strong impact Should show this kind of stuff more often!

  14. Some of the LED's on my brake strip light have stopped working...is it more likely to be a loose connection than they need replaced?
  15. Pretty sure I know the answer to this but if my shocks are leaking is this an MOT failure? Started when I had the car on axle stands for a couple of days and noticed 2 patches of fluid at the rear wheels...put them back on and now i'm hearing a kind of creaking noise coming from the rear of the car...reckon it must be down to the shocks losing fluid. Time for a set of coilovers I think
