  1. Is there an after market rear bumper section available for Mkiv. If there is any pictures, costs etc.....
  2. I researched Methonal from medical journal and it was said that it was harmful even as a vapour. SOmeone else on this site works with it and had stated the same. Just thought I would mention it, but I am not going to say anything more on the subject...... If I'm wrong I'm wrong but if I am right I will see you later. I just called to say...where are you...
  3. ANd make sure when mixing the methonal you do it in a full white suit and in a sealed room. I have looked at this before and methonal is deadly, just the vapour can effect your eyes. If you have children don't even consider storing this stuff in your house or garage
  4. Thats what I had, thought they were ok. You can disable loads of stuff using the key fob. p.s. think I have that on the 355 also
  5. The Alarm on my Supra would let you disable the beeps and prob lights too from the key fob. Any help
  6. When I looked at using methonal (I even ordered 25 ltres but did not pick it up and sold it to Justin) In the water injection system I fitted to my Supra the health warning put me off. Now I am no square when it comes to don't do that its dangerous BUT this stuff, if you spash it in your eyes it can blind you. The vapour from it alone is extreamly dangerous. If you have got kids then the risk to there health is high. I IMHO don't beleive the health risk is worth ignoring from what is prob very little gain in Power. Just buy some bigger turbos, I advise the ones that allowed Christian to reach in excess of 20mph faster then my 355 over the same distance. P.S. I did explain the health risk to Justin but he bought it anyway. :flame Dev
  7. Do you mean the lower lip that retracts. If you do mean that, then it will flake. Sorry thought you meant the bumper and spoiler front
  8. Do you mean the lower lip that retracts. If you do mean that then, if will flake. Sorry thought you meant the bumper and spoiler front
  9. Just paint it in normal paint. It will only crack if it is hit. Try another paint shop! regards
  10. I thought the induction kit used its own filter which draws air from inside the engine bay. If it is not then you are right.
  11. Wouldn't add a modified filter unless you can feed it direct with cold air from outside the car. Standard ones sit right next to the Turbo and suck in hot air. SO in the summer you could actually lose power. This is what I was advised when modifying mine.
  12. JIC can get these, they fitted a S/H one when I bought mine
  13. That is great, wish I had your job rather then hitting a keyboard all day. Chris, soon it will stop as good as a Ferrari p.s. I got a 355 berlinetta instead of a GTS in the end.
  14. Bolts just fitted a Chris Wilson restrictor plate it is even adjustable. Bolts Supra was boostin to 1.5 now down to 1.275 ish. 30 min job to fit. Ring CW and talk to him he supplies restrictor and all gaskets for approx £30. That will sort your problem. Bolts can use full throttle now , oh my God! regards
  15. Just remember that power braking where you hold down the brake while reving the engine, can cause problems to the auto in that it can get to hot and damage it. I have only heard this and have not read this anywhere. But it seems a bad thing to do to any auto, just to get a good time. regards
  16. My old Supra blew a pipe off soon after de catting it. This stopped the second turbo working at all. It happened the other day to the new owner BOLTS, probably thrashing it to bits  The pipe in question is approx 6mm diameter on the drivers side at the back of the engine at the top , you will see a number of small pipes here. Check for a pipe off
