    not long now

Welcome along! Get some pics up of the car! Is it a manual or auto?
  2. It would be a cracker if some weekend some of the members came up for the Aberdeen member's weekend antics as well
  3. The HOK Candy Red is stunning, that was something I always wanted for a long time! I adore my White 040 hence having the car in said colour Other colours I love are the Audi Ibis White (would consider getting the Supra repainted in that as it is so bright!) and also the Volkswagen Shadow Blue Metallic like what my old Golf was:-
  4. As we've discovered - no coating! Bonus Yeah I went from an 88bhp Golf mk5 1.4 Had the car just over a year now (need to change the thread title!), but thanks for the kind words! ------------------------------------ Got some more stuff done to the car last night:- http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs368.snc4/45154_505713088153_339200132_191473_3215522_n.jpg Removed the seats; Removed the carpet (it's old and grey, needs dyed black ); Removed all dash panels (getting sprayed soon) Removed the dash in prep for the heater matrix swap (well, very nearly - as it is an NA-TT, the wiring at the driver's footwell is a nightmare to get undone to free the dash); Almost removed the crash bar (dash wiring in the way). Once the crash bar is out of the way I can get the heater box out and replace my matrix. Still need to empty out the air-con gas though.
  5. It is an experience and a half H!
  6. This is going to be great! I've always had a soft spot for the RX-7 FD3S! I'll have one someday!
  7. 1. Monsween 2. MarcAB10 3. Drift_bear 4. HateEvent (providing I have enough notice to get the Saturday off work )
  8. With enough notice I can try to get the Saturday off work
  9. If the car is gonna be off the road a while then do the heater matrix as well if it hasn't been done already
  10. That'd be cool! I need to take my mum out to Banchory just now so won't be too long started by the time you get here! I may nip to Halfrauds for some spray paint if you fancy some dash action?
  11. Today shall be a long one, going to take the dash out and change the heater matrix.

    my dream car

Dyno a JDM Supra and it'll be ~320 (providing it's stock). The "280bhp" (well, 276) was to do with the "gentleman's agreement": They didn't actually stick to this. They just said they'd agree to cap the cars at this output level. In the same breath, dyno a 34GTR. They're not 280 either

    Inception

Yeah I agree Keith, I didn't struggle to follow it at all. Having read up stuff since watching it, I want to see it again to confirm some things though
  14. Looking good dude, will be great when finished. White is the best

    my dream car

It's time to kick back with these bad boys I think. http://www.expertsem.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Crumpets.jpg

    my dream car

    Much to learn, sir.

    my dream car

320 I wanted to get a Supra first as well, but it made much more sense to get something else to learn to drive in. It's not even as much about your own ability as getting used to general etiquette of the roads as in how everyone else drives! Wait it out and go for the Supra down the line a little once you're more accomplished. You'll appreciate it more
  18. It's the only way Geo! Still no seen yours yet! Front bumper, carbon splitter, sideskirts with carbon lower section, rear skirts (spats) with carbon lower section & 30mm extended front fenders are on the list. As is a nice carbon bonnet Maybe some carbon Gandador mirrors as well. But that can wait! Oh and facelift rear lights too! Dunno where it could have went, some beardy was eyeing it up the other day. If you hear anything let me know yeah?
  19. Well... The car is going into storage for a while and I will be ordering some new bits while it is off the road. I have always wanted Ridox bits so figured that I'd be as well to get now rather than buy twice as I won't be using the car for a while anyway. First thing to do was to remove the bumper, lights and wings: ------------ Made some good progress on the car tonight - stage 1 of taking it apart in preperation for the new bits: Just need to get the bumper bar and impact bar off then take off the slam panel (spot welded, only non bolt on part) and get the new ones fitted. Then to get the new bonnet on (keeping other one on to act as a cover for now). More pics as I go.
  20. Gutted I didn't make it along! Hopefully be along to something next year! Someone needs to slag the hair soon enough
  21. I'm after the bonnet as seen on Orido's Ridox Supra but don't know where to find one? Any ideas? I've found where to get most of the other parts I plan on gathering, just need to source this one Here is a pic for reference: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs273.snc4/39983_505699729923_339200132_190790_7233876_n.jpg Thanks
  22. Have you sold this bumper already?
