Or 70 - 150 mph OPPPS:innocent: WRX are not that quick in the 70's plus range as the new one i murdered was just a 226nhp 2.5 model. So i guess after 60 a NA could give it a run for it's money. Best way to beat it would be to rock back and forth - see previous race thread under spirited driving. Bloke in a Volvo i think beat a Single Turbo, by rocking back and forth

I murdered and i mean murdered a WRX, they ain't that fast, once they're rolling. STI's are a little different and I had trouble with a M3 Evo the other day, but it couldn't have been stock as a Stock Evo M3 AND uk tt Auto are pretty much even. I also had 2 more passengers and 200kg makes a difference! Anyway , back to the post, when i said 'poor mans' I meant it AT THE TIME not in monetary terms and in BHP terms. A supra is a Supra, but given the odd £3k in price i was always going to go for the REAL supra that is a TT It's a bit like a Ford Escort being done up like a Cosworth, minus the engine. ONLY JOKING!!!!!!!!

I just get fed up of unsubstantiated figures. SilkYsMOTH, I apologise if I came across a bit strong and do not mean to offend, but unless someone can prove something it means nothing and I would expect to get near 60 in 6 seconds you would need closer to 300 bhp than 200 bhp. I would say at least another 50bhp, which to get on an NA would take some doing!

I suppose if your going to drive the poorer mans Supra then you NA chaps have to stick together What gets me too many (youngsters/Chav Wannabes?) who buy an NA or can't afford insurance on TT bring the Supra down, with stupid comments like ' mine does 160 mph and 100 in 12 seconds and I've got it on camera doing 60mph in 6 seconds. Fact remains you talk BS PS with a name like 'Silkysmooth' i hazzard a guess that you fit into one of the above!)

Sorry, I can only manage just under 6 seconds in a UK TT Auto and I would leave you for dust. A NA can't do 0-60 in 6 seconds. To get near that you must has NOS or something. The Supra is a fairly heavy car and with 220BHP you won't make 60 in 6 seconds! I went through a phase in my early 20's when i had my NA MR2 and thought it was the fastest thing on the Road - I used to tell pork pies that it could do 60mph in around 6 seconds, then one day I met an MR2 Turbo and the rest is history. Unless you can prove unequivocally that it does 0-60 in 6 seconds I would just accept that your telling porkies!!!

I think these assumptions of 0-60 times are based on male pride, which takes its form in many guises!! You've got to go by the stat's given by Toyota and others which appear to be 6.8 - 6.9 for a manual. So Auto would be slower. Unless you can provide evidence of a NA doing 0-60MPH in a certain time, it means nothing its just hearsay

Supra N/A is around 6.9 - and Auto in the early 7's Top Speed is just under 150 mph

I've got 127k on my UK Auto TT and still pulls like a dream. Pretty cheap, but looks a but tatty

I Paid £5995 for my UK Auto spec with 123k on it - Bloody Bargain! And it's in very good condition

Sorry IMO the RX7 looks like a girls car, the Supra looks more menacing!

Auto - Quick glance at speedo and is was just shy of 170mph, but GPS said 154 but it felt as though it would still go - maybe if i had of hit 155mph - like someone has said, it would just have 'that's it - fast enough - no more!!'

After i done it, i was like a little kid, i want more i want more, MORE POWER, i want to hit 180mph they all hype about ect ect!! Obviously only suitable for track!!!!!

In short it didn't take long to get to 154mph!!!! and i am pretty sure mine has not been de-limited!
