cheers wilson, i have checked them out and may be an option. i am now wondering after seeing the price of replacing these on average for normal day use but with a bit of a sporty feel, id be looking at least £1k incl fitting which is a little out of budget, i may speak with the garage again and see what he thought the condition of the springs were, i may not have to replace the if they are still in decent nic.... good lad thanks man, i just wanted to double check i mean i only seem to get time at the weekends what with hardly any day light anymore, no chance during the week after work. thanks ofr the tip about the battery i may very well end up doin that!

hey, thought i would use this old thread to ask a related question....when it comes to fitting these bulbs, i have a fog light bulb to replace and i thought it would be a 5 min job, i got the back cap off to reveal the tail, but couldnt get in any further to access the bulb, does the complete headlight unit need to come out completely to replace bulbs? or am i just not trying had enough - do i just need to fiddle about in there until i can get the blown bulb out?i see its got a metal base so it should just twist out right? cheers

thanks mate, i will see what you post up. i guess it would be non adjustable (dampers) but may consider height adjustable option. still investigating this and looking around, i have a local garage on stand by to fit for me when i find a set. pardon my total n00bie question but coilovers are a complete set ie dampers and springs yeah? so i have that option or source springs and dampers independently? do you know if the supes have bilstein shocks as standard, i have also heard that they use kyb shocks so i am a little confused what the standard setup is, whether its specific to JDM supes or what. thanks again for your reply

well, new alternator installed and sounding sweet again, and also checked out the old one, it was the bearings at the back of the unit that were a bit rattly! -
Hi Chris thanks for the feedback, do you have a website or a link or pics i could check out, what sort of prices are involved for both a non-adjustable and adjustable height setup? do you also do adjustable damper/stiffness setups? cheers Dave

Hey iv been gettin knocking noises from the front. Had it investigated and been advised tht the shocks r causing the noise and advised I get them replaced. I was wondering what other owners have fitted to their supes? I will be lookin to replace shocks and springs all round. Might as well. I honestly don't know what the right combo will be, iv searched for hours on here and google. My supe is a daily driver and mayb the odd track day so mayb should look at adjustables? Does anyone have any combo suggestions? It's a 93 jdm NA I hav, I read that supes hav bilstein shocks as standard, is this the case for both uk and jdm? If so am I best to replace with bilstein? I know it's a personal choice but would be great to hear what you all have done and what fits/works Thanks in advance all dave

woops! Really sorry folks I just dug out my receipt and it was just the retainer clip I bought. But it was the price quoted above!

mines needed replaced when i bought my supe....IIRC it was under a £10 like nearer £5 from MR T himself! one of the few inexepnsive things to get direct from MR T.

Hi, i have decided to make my own "halo / Angel eyes" mod, i have a set of UK Spec lights on the car just now, and i'm a bit nervous about working on them straight away without any practice first! i stupidly threw my JSpec lights out at the skip when i was there last...i was moving house etc and i was going to need the space in the car and honestly didnt think i would need them....kicking myself now! Anyways the reason i am posting this is to see if anyone is willing to part with a headlight unit for MK4 supra...doesnt have to be working at all - i really just need the inside for measurements etc. dont care if there are broken bits as long as it still resembles a headlight unit lol. is anyone willing to donate one to me? i dont mind parting with a few squidlies either! if it all works out i may make a few sets to pass on?
