When flicking through my cars service history invoices I remember that my TT had new engine mounts replaced at some point. I don't think they were very expensive to replace but can check tonight if you want.

Firstly a little intro so I don't upset anyone!. I'm not a complete newbie but i've been away from the board for a while. When I first joined I had a NA but found a bargain UK 6 speed and snapped it up. My technical question is this, per the Uk manual the Airbags require replacement/service after 10 yrs (within the next year for my car) and subsequent checks every two years. Can the Airbags be removed completely without any MOT issues? If not do you think that replacement will be costly?

Situation: TT for sale, direct from Japan (with no spoiler), importer / dealer (in his ultimate wisdom) has put on a very 'Rice' fast'n'furious Toca touring car type wing. Me: Interested, especially if standard spoiler fitted (no problem he say) Problem / question: The four holes made for the rice spoiler will need to be filled in the boot. Is there likely to be any problems down the line with cracking etc of the filler (presumably) used for such a repair. Any advice / opinions Cheers in advance PS anyone know if insurance would be affected adversely by this type of spoiler (it's kind of growing on me, especially if the hole repair thing is dubious)
