Yep !!! I knew there was a Supra under there somewhere......
If its one thing I have learnt about polished pipework and wheels etc is they dont like the winter months and being my daily driver also made it even worse. All throughout the winter I suppose I feel I have been falling out of love with the old girl, mainly due to it feels like no matter how much effort I put into keeping her clean, several years worth of effort, it felt that after the winter months had taken their toll and it was just a pointless up hill struggle, I was almost getting to the stage of shall I sell her, shall I keep her.
I wish I had a before shot of the engine bay, not that I would actually want photographic evidence of how bad it was but lets just say I had to start right back at the beginning as I hadnt touched the engine bay at all over the winter months, one can of gunk and a hose, after that was wiping the whole engine bay down, and then cutting back all the polished pipe work before finally back to black'ing all pipes and covers.
Few points to note, Im still waiting for the new rear and front bumper to go on (if GVN ever sort their lives out lol, their very busy at the mo bless them), the hood scoop they fitted last September decided to depart the car the other week, they will fit a new one when she goes back to have the bumpers fitted, and the odd wheels is just waiting for me to find the time to get to Mitchelldever tyres to get the same wheels as the rears put on the fronts.
But after some very sore fingers bending in around pipe work all afternoon here is the results......hope you all like
