  1. Mmmmm, what bits do I need lol.........
  2. Cant believe yours went the same way Gav, they do seem very frail dont they, it doesnt leave me much hope for you newer built engine thats waiting to go in. And it seems it doesnt take many miles for them to be driven while missfiring that they then suffer excessive bore wash...... Have you spoke to James at ToyotaGt yet ?
  3. You obvioulsy missed Keancy's thread.....
  4. There's something I have never seen before lol.........Supra headlights........ Sorry, its that time in the morning lol.......
  5. Ha, Ha, very funny, but for that now Im issuing a 5% discount on every extra day taken to do it......lol Didnt get chance to drop my mates land rover off to you today, so it will be tomorrow now if you read this in time, you will laugh when you see this thing though........
  6. Maybe its just my work then if your ok, had to wait literally 4mins or so for one of those images to load........maybe its just me lol.......
  7. Never mind new projects, how's my engine swap coming along lol.......
  8. Good work, but please use a different image host, imageshack is sooooo slow......
  9. Was wondering who is was on here that he knew, he said his mate was a Supra owner and vacated this board......... Yeah I dropped the engine off at ToyotaGT yesterday evening, looked a nice clean block, so just hope it all turns out good, cant afford to throw anymore money down the drain, and after only just buying this S13 in December money is already slipping down the pan......havent even got to drift the ruddy thing yet, but Im now already eying up the next DWYB at Santa Pod in March, hopefully it will be ready for then....... Yeah not looked into it too much regarding the T28 vs the T25 turbo, my ECU is stage1 with the T25 I believe, so will need to read up and learn a bit more about the car on SXOC to see what gains I can make out of this turbo...... Got the VLSD diff in ready now as well, so Im so close to drifting her yet still so far lol.....Im itching its killing me lol
  10. Re-build buddies.... Im probably going to do it, how far I would get and how quickly it gets done probably wont be too quick, cant afford to throw money at it so when ever I have some spare cash, fpmsl, spare cash, cant remember the last time I actually had any lol, but I will keep a detailed log and pics and do it slowly over a year say......
  11. I just bought a rebuilt CA18DET engine, new shells, Wiseco pistons etc for 400 quid, at the price for that Im not too bothered if it throws its shells or something, but if I find it does happen again, I would probably go with the more common swap of an RB engine......
  12. Yeah, its just how much money I would end up throwing at it, but I suppose bit by bit over time isnt so bad....... TDR, would you have any idea of the costs involved if I had to get the work done to the cylinders like you said, and possibly getting the crank re-ground for new shells. Obviously then ontop I would have the cost of new pistons/shells/shims and shit for the head, excuse my lack of knowledge lol........but just trying to gauge what cost I would be looking at to get the block to a good state ready for uprated/new parts.......if you see what Im trying to say .........
  13. And all my polished pipe work.......
  14. I know I have no soul........waste of bandwith IMO......

    Custom Paint Jobs

Bit of a trek across the pond mate for a respray but welcome.....
  16. Im a vet, £100 and I will advise you.....
  17. I would at least be getting a second opinion now from another vet, as like you I would be starting to feel like Im being taking for a money ride........so all in all, for about £300 odd quid, you have seen him like 3 times and got 3 bottles of drops that havent done diddly.........
  18. James, Colin (Colsoop) is the man for polishing stuff, but requires parts to be polished...... Not sure of anyone that flogs shiny bits apart from the usual traders, Envy etc.....
  19. God there is always someone wanting to piss on my fire in life....
  20. I had a few issues with my S13 engine, namely the AFM was playing up, ended up having to drive her hard while she was massively overfuled, drank over a 1/4 tank in like under 10 miles, foot to the floor, 1bar of boost and was only getting 40mph out of her, anyway, seems this has caused excessive bore wash. On cold compression she is fine, but as soon as she gets warm she doesnt run well. ToyotaGT have a done the usual leak down/compression tests and have said she would need a re-build, Im guessing for things like piston rings etc, not too sure what has to be done for a rebuild regarding excessive bore wash, but when I enquired with them on a rough cost to get my engine running again £1400 was the ball park figure, hence why I have bought another S13 engine for £400. So this leaves me with my engine, and Im not sure what I should do with it ? Bin it ? Take it home, strip it down, maybe build it slowly over time and learn more about engines. I lake a comprehensive took kit and engine cranes and stuff...... She is ony my drift car so want to run her on a shoe string.....but feel this engine could be a good learning tool ? Flog it on, could I get anything for it, is it worth anything.....? Just thought I would see whats peoples opinions ?
  21. Ha, ha, he's been watching to many fims tell him
  22. Well done, remember only 6 points to play with for the first 2 years.......
  23. Nah, nor me, very boring......I wanna know what it feels like.....
  24. So you eventually made the bed move for your misses, well done, just dont tell her it was an earthquake........you're on for fry up in the morning....
  25. Horribly complex, or a great bit on engineering, I know what it looks like to me
