This shouldnt take any half competant designer much more then 15/20mins, but Im at work, I have no drawing/editing packages at all, and well Im also very crap at sign design lol...... So was wondering if someone could help..... I wont ramble on about it too much here unless someone shows an interest as well, its just a waste of time lol. When mine wasnt reving past 3k it was because the ECU was putting the car into safety mode, due to a failed MAF sensor, just thought I would share that

Im hoping the fact its a supposed 1000hp monster is where a big chunk of the price tag is made up and not the fact its rebuilt from a spares Supra........

No, I did think that after, but we are positive its not the 12v mod being reversed thats the problem. The problem aint at the fuel pump end, its the ECU end..... Why did the boost pipe blow? We are sure its becuause the ECU done what it is doing now, its killing the car, and when it does that Gav said that the VVT-i closes the thottle body as its fly by wire, that would have caused the brief build up of boost causing the pipe to blow.

Well this story certainly continues..... Put the boost pipe back, Gav came round and reversed the 12v fuel pump mod, started her up and she runs for a few seconds then the ECU is shutting the fuel pump down and killing the car. We figured out why the blown boost pipe appeared to be the issue as we think what happened on the motorway, the ECU has picked something up and closed the throttle body and shut things down, this would have caused a bit of build up as the turbos still sping increasing the pressure too much and a pipe blew. We have checked the fuel pump relays, they are good, Gav tested the fuel pump by priming it manually and running a direct feed to the fuel so the ECU cant shut it down and the car runs, but for some reason under its on power the ECU is picking something up and killing the power the fuel pump ? Any idea's.....? Gav is coming to come over Sunday and test all the electrics of the car end to end to check the wiring hasnt been compromised somewhere, then it could be the alarm killing the power but dont know if this would kill the power then or how it does it, apart from those two things we cant think of anything else.....

Like what one ? I have never been a fan of aftermarket spoilers, much preffered the stock look. Its amazing how many people dont know what thats all about. Especially the younger generation, they say "whats those stickers all about?", Ha, kids today havent lived......lol

Makes you shudder dont it lol, but thats all I was thinking while sat on the hard shoulder, how is the Ridox going to fair getting winched on, so after getting the car on and off without a hiccup and the strut brace bending I was and still am actually happy, I mean I can get another strut brace for £70-£100, but yeah there was only mm to spare. It was a nice surprise though finding out that that carbon fibre lip aint just a lip, its part of the under tray that goes all the way back, so that makes it ten time stronger and nice knowing thats why that bumper costs what it does. Im never going back to copy kits

I dont know mate, thats the thing, I think if someone could photoshop a TRD wing onto the car so I could see. I didnt want a different then stock rear wing, in fact the whole car I have tried to keep a stock look, so Im not sure why I fancied the lary rear end, but reading everyones comments, Im not going to go trial to just please the masses and I am building a car thats my personal choice, but Im not just convinced myself, it needs fettling more I just havent figured out what....

No it wasnt the fuel pump, and Im really ashamed to say this, because its a school boy error with these cars and after 7 years ownership and it happening to me before previously I should have realised what the problem was.......... That classic boost pipe popping off Shame I know have a bent strut brace for it though, but still at least I havent got to start solving problems.......I will be getting the 12v reversed asap though.....

Well you lot are really leaving me with a difficult choice lol. Of course I think the rest of the car is exactly how I would want my choice Supra to look. I love the front bumper, its stock looking but more agressive, I love the skirts, boxy looking, so when some people say they dont like certain bit of the rest of the car, it doesnt bother me, thats personal choice and like people say we all have different tastes. But the rear a few people seem to be split on, and I still am. I dont want to do things just because others do, so this rear end really is leaving me in a bit of a pickle at the moment..... Rob I think it was you that asked what I use to get the shiny stuff, just Autosol or what ever it is...... Micheal, you should get infractioned for that

Oh my god, not only is it pub bragging that it has 16 pistons, but it cant even go with the standard two pads, oh no, this monster caliper likes to chew away at 4 pads at once......

My plate will be using a motor to flip up and down, and this isnt for avoiding front facing speed camera's, but as you can see from the size of a standard plate, it blocks a good percentage of the air flow going through, so thats fine when just cruising around off load, but when fully under load I suspect that blocked air flow wont help matters, so I want a in car switch I can press and the number plate will be lifted to let more air through. When Im getting mine made up, would you like me to keep you posted and if you want get two of everything. A garage will be fitting mine but Im sure not much is involved for you to copy them ?
