  1. Appreciate your views guys, but the C-West rear light covers are staying, I like them and they were never a question. The rear bumper is a strange one, and I do think its partly down to no one has really seen this bumper much. In the beggining I would grimice when looking at the rear of the car, but the more I look at it and get used to it the more it seems ok, but just ok. Thing is this car is so near perfect for how I want my Supra just ok dont quite cut it.......
  2. Well I had to tempt fate didnt I, she broke on me tonight, was driving along and it felt like a pop, my first thoughts were "Ahhh shoots there goes my tubby blades".....but she still making boost, while very lump'ily trying to move along. I pulled onto the hard shoulder and she died. I started her up, she fired up fine but then runs really rough. It reminded me of the time my MAF sensor on the S13 was sending dodgy signals and the ECU was trying to compensate with the fueling, so a bit like that, rough and lumpy. Anyway she would start but die without holding her idle. I have talked to a few and considering she very rarely breaks down, and this fuel pump issue, I think she may have eaten another fuel pump. I think the pump is working enough to pressureise the rail to fire her up but then not enough to keep her going. Had to be recovered back by the AA, and with the genuin Ridox front cant even find my tow eye, so we used the strut brace to winch her on, but it bent under the strain, still that wasnt my main worry, the £900 Ridox front and carbon fibre lip was what was worrying me getting her on the flatbed. A £70 strut brace I can cope with lol..........fun and games Will get the pump out tomorrow and have a look, oh and get someone to reverse the 12v mod quickly.....
  3. Looks good Rob And thats a damn sexy looking Supe you have there lol But then I would say that, although you're not doing me any favours in trying to swing me away from that Trial rear lol.......does look good though, hmmmmm, the decisions....... You need to do something about that front number plate though mate, it spoils the front end......I might have an idea for you soon, keep an eye out for my next addition where the number plate is concerned.....
  4. Erm, where are the fucking pics......
  5. Suprash

    Large brakes

I smoke pot, will try 18 in one evening, but I'll warn ya, I'll get the munchies after that many bifters......... 12 pot brakes, WTF, seriously, who are these people......
  6. So come on, where did this pic come from........? Who does these.......
  7. Of course it was here lol, this is the only place I know Well yeah granted I have been around for a few years now...... But I did notice in the beggining how the fuel pump could be heard when the ignition is on and thought that has to be stressfull for it, so I never generally left my ignition on while the engine wasnt running, for that reason.......but isnt the pump constantly on when your ignition is on anyway, its just on in 8v mode while the ignition is on. The pump will be always be on when ever the ignition is one depsite what volts its receiving no ? Whats more worrying is the 12v mod is still in place, sods fooking law the car will explode now before I get chance to reverse it after the car is finally at a stage Im happy with
  8. So why the hell is it advised so much, especially in a place like this........
  9. Well its not often I post in here guys but thought I would give you something to mull over. About 3/4 years ago I had a Walbro pump fitted and then not long after I had the 12v fuel pump mod done after seeing it was recommended. Thing is my fuel pump kept blowing a fuse the other week and it turned out the fuel pump was dead, so dead, it had melted part of the connector and even parts of the fuel pump housing looked like it has melted, basically it looks like the whole fuel pump has got so hot its started to melt in places. Now this is worrying given its location. But I was adament the cause of the fuel pump fuse wouldnt be the fuel pump itself as these very rarely fail in my opinion and even less so if the pump is only a couple of years old. Now this has got me thinking obviously my fuel pump is whinning away at a full 12v, which now that I know more, I dont think it really has to be, so why is this advised. And is it advisable to run a pump constantly like that? I currently have a 10 year old UK fuel pump in place for now, but Im worried the same might happen to this pump or even worse it goes bang I will take some pics and get them up for you of the fuel pump in question.....
  10. What ? Where are you living now....?
  11. Pop round and have a look....
  12. Thats what I think, but everyone else keeps saying they like it Im thinking it will be smoother if I got those two side vents filled in and smoothed over, it will make it more clean and sweap round the back more. Then Im thinking a carbon fibre diffuser to fit along the bottom, take it lower to the ground. Do Top Secret do one that would this bumper ??? I was thinking I might have to get a one off one made up. I do really think a Trial would suit the car more, but seeing as everyone has a trial I really want to try something different....
  13. Ok, I took some more pics of the car for you all to make your mind up on. I have to say Im struggling with this rear, I know I said initially I didnt like it, but its growing on me, and I have some things in the pipe line to maybe compliment it a bit more into the car. But anyway, give me your honest opinions, as constructive as possible.......
  14. Emin, is that my oold Bomex you nearly wrecked there lol.......didnt know you had it on already, thats was quick..... Sorry to hear about your car though dude, hope it all gets sorted in the end.... If you need some new wheels remember I still have lots of wheels lying around lol

  16. Well thats what I was thinking, chew the cud of what can be done on a 100,000 mile overhaul, when his time permits of course Then prune the bits where Micheal pokes me with a stick and I start throwing my toys about out to tidy it up....
  17. I reckon you're just jealous, would you like an invite Rob........ Actually was hoping you made it last Sunday, would have been good to shake your hand.....
  18. There is no fricking way Im blowing your ring Gav Matt's maybe, he might knock something off the bill for paying in kind lol
  19. Mate I dont doubt he isnt a nice chap, Im sure if I ever got to meet him in person my opinion of him would change. I never hold grudges so would always say hello to him if we ever are in the same place. Its just his board persona that sometimes can get to someone, no excuse, but Im tired, this is my 10th 15hr day on the trot and yeah I bit, but its not often I bite in all fairness. But I take my hat off to you for your mature approach in dealing with this, I was expecting something for the colourful language
  20. That sounds like a challenge, nothing is too hot for me
  21. Next time I will make sure I introduce myself properly now I definitely know who you are
  22. Like we can always count on you for being a pringle, you can always count on me to stand up if I get narked, at least I dont take it lying down........
  23. I know, a long day and a long week and pointless posts like that just get to me........ I only fricking met Matt on Saturday so just wanted to get him thinking about what I should get done......chew the cud etc....... That was you stood next to gary by the van wasnt it, before I go down the road of assuming the wrong person ?
  24. Thanks bud but I did already say......
