    Hello all!

welcome to the club make congrats on your purchase, did you get a 6 speed or auto?
  5. teesside, norton what about you?
  6. first thing i would invest in is a decent socket set and a long reach bar for the more diffciult bolts which can be a pain to get off if seized etc. just to add a few jobs ive done on the supe have needed burning gear to get some of the seized nuts off etc.
  7. 3 bolts that holds then in all 10mm, the hard or tricky bit is sepearting the lenses from the light unit. I found the best way was to hover the light over the cooker hob untill the sealent starts to soften and using a knife or similar tool to carefully prise the unit open.
  8. get yourself a decent polishing compound as that will make quick work of the yellowing. I have always used Farecla compounds although not the cheapest they are well worth the extra cash. http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&dfsp=1&from=R40&satitle=farecla&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D3&sadis=200&fpos=TS201SL&sabfmts=1&saobfmts=insif&ga10244=10425&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&fgtp= here are some on ebay but your local auto shop should sell it.
  9. cheers mate They could do with another coat to be honest, as i had to refurbish a few pistons and the g-clamp messed it up a bit
  10. i did mine gold with silver decals hope this helps you decide lol

Aye well said at the end of the day it’s your car and it makes you happy so that’s all that matters. I think some people go a step to far in some cases (such as this) there is constructive comments, then some tw*t doing stuff like that in photoshop. In the real world these people wouldn’t have the balls to say it, just hiding behind a computer screen hence the comments we see plastered over you tube etc.
  13. yeah that has been on for a while i got my tt 6 speed in january and it was on ebay then. I got my 6 speed manual for 6000 although it needed new discs and pads all round (not much change out of £500!)The UK spec brakes are very expensive when it comes to discs, this is because the front discs are handed(left and right, dont ask me why as i couldnt work it out lol) and as a result they are seprate part numbers, sorry for going off on a tangent just wanted you to know the cost of these things lol. i would say budget 6500-7000 for a decent 6 speed manual, would probably be pre face lift though. if you need any more advice feel free to ask!
  14. hi mate its look a decent car and its a big bonus having UK spec brakes. However this is a little high in my opinion for a automatic, you could get a manual 6 speed for this sort of money.

Bit shocking really typical American though, over opinionated and most over weight hence why they loved that car lol…
  17. seems to be quite a few round here should meet up one time when all are free
  18. would of loved to come to this however ive got uni exams all week bit of a pain really, ill come next year though
  19. Shouldn’t need to take the needles off so this shouldn’t be a issue. They will slide on with a bit of patience, saves the pain of potentially putting the needles back on inaccurately. Hope this helps
  20. http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Summary.aspx?model=594 cant imagine why it would lie
  21. dont s14's have a 0-60 of about 7.5 compared with the supra tt in the mid 5's. dont make sense really lol
  22. s14 is about on par with a n/a supra imo. i drove a few when i had a interest in them they really didnt feel that fast, however its easier and less expensive to tune than a n/a supra.
  23. ahh okies not interested in a auto, cant imagine many would be willing to go to auto from a 6 speed either. Good luck in your search though
