I find i cant control myself in an auto i dont even need to change gear to go loopy, its made the loopy process far more efficient If your sx was running pretty standard boost, youll probably find the NA supra an entertaining/comparable drive You will get far more interest from the general public though, ive had mine all of 4 days and someones already asked to take a photo of it, never had that in 4 years of sx ownership! get one bought

All depends on wether your sx was standard.... My last car was a tuned S14, running about 270 on a good day. On test driving an NA supe i found it lacked the power i wanted. However if your sx was standard (cant have been too modded or youd have blown the auto box, they run out of the will to live about 260-270!) youll find the NA supe at least on a par with it, if not nippier. IMHO nicer to drive, make an aswome noise and look more appealing than the sx as well (and ive had two sx's so im not being bias!)
  3. link text Try that... but replace the dumb links/names Do a search on dw help for "pop up window", thats where i got it from and it works: http://www.asdesignsweb.co.uk/pop_up.html
  4. you want a pop up window... the only time ive ever used one was in my dreamweaver training I know its easy..... just cant remember off the top of my head how you do it though. If you have DW it will be lurking in the help files somewhere. ill have a look later.
  5. Bought mine last week, couldnt be happier It can be a pussy cat at times, then turn into a full blown lion, with roar to match with the press of a button and some pressure on the right foot! If you dont use it in lion mode its not that bad on fuel, i did a 30 mile each way trip last night, managed to chew through about 1/4 on the way down, and hardly anything on the way back (way down playing, way back 70 on the cruise control) Buy one youll love it Dont be put off by the auto, i HATE auto cars as a rule, but the auto box on the supra is how an auto box should be - it actually works!
  6. Slightly random, but i met the bloke who now owns the scoob pictured earlier, at a jap meet in brighton (if iit wasnt its identical, but hard to tell on a phone!). He used to be a police officer and confirmed it is infact an old wifes tale about the numbers being illegal, much like pregnant women being able to pee in an officers hat There is a reason why rally cars etc cross them out, but i cant recall what it is. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/dibbley/scooby/new/IMGP1198smallweb.jpg
  7. Thats the one... didnt know its name, should have put "single" lol Hi Tricky-Ricky, spotted you loafing about on here
  8. Black plastic things a parking sensor, one on the back as well. Indicators have been changed for some bike ones, can just see them hiding up in the vents in the bumper: http://www.asdesignsweb.co.uk/supra/DSC00792.jpg
  9. Its keeping its bum warm Plus, as i have to park next to the bins, if i park any further forward, the door on the hut makes contact with my car...
  10. You sir... are a diamond Where about in WS are you (feel free to pm) and do you fancy helping fit it lol Its an odd feeling, ive had sx's for years, and knew the engines like the back of my hand, every noise the lot. I rebuilt my mr2 eninge myself, so knew that quite well, feel completly out of my depth now Steep learning curve! Only just realised the turbos are on the wrong side
  11. Picked her up yesterday Slight problem in that the top of the rad has developed a crack, so ive only really been able to put a new head unit in, play with the phone kit, polish it, find the sequential/single turbo switch and shout at the alarm (because i havent finished reading the yellow pages sized manual for it) Other than the rad problem, its awsome. Completly different animal to my old 200sx, where the sx started running out of breath, the supras second turbo kicks in Hopefully make it to some meets soon http://www.asdesignsweb.co.uk/supra/DSC00791.jpg http://www.asdesignsweb.co.uk/supra/DSC00792.jpg http://www.asdesignsweb.co.uk/supra/DSC00793.jpg http://www.asdesignsweb.co.uk/supra/DSC00794.jpg
  12. Luckaly having had two sx's and an mr2, im used to RWD cars trying to kill me at every oppertunity (the worst of which was the mr2, which was ruthless and only NA!) Dont think ive even managed to break traction in the supe yet, although im in no hurry to try! Apart from the rad, which seems a common prob, shes lovely, just needs a good clean and get the "old owner" smell out (no lee im not saying you smell!)
  13. Yes came down their earlier, didnt quite reach the speed you came past my sx at though..... "oh look theirs steve...... VROOOOM .... oh, there was steve...... " Maybe tomorrow
  14. only big dislike i had with the Garmin was the time it took to update, it would move the lill car every second or so, which is a long time when you need instructions on roads. Say if you have 3 right turns, id often end up missing the one i wanted by the time it perked up and shouted at me Tomtom updates really quickly
  15. yEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEs, theirs only one of me GAZ off ujcc? (durr ) *waves*
  16. Had both Garmin (nuvi) and Tomtom (on a pocket pc), both have their positives and negatives. I ended up selling the Garmin as the i found the tomtom slighty better
  17. How much would it cost to get it posted down to gatwick area? If i cant find one localy round here i may be interested tomorrow. How old it is?
  18. Picked the car up today, get it home to find the rads had it Split in the top plastic bit. Anyone got one, preferably local as i cant really enjoy my new car untill its sorted. Lets hope this is just a hick up not a sign of things to come Auto car if it makes a diff.
  19. What are you doing with your old skirts jim-bob *circles* Car looks good by the way
  20. They are a bit sneaky, its hidden away at the bottom of the tarrifs page, you have to click and expand it out. It was only because i made a point of checking that i found it - bar-stewards!
  21. Think your too late, they were running low on spaces at the start of feb If the club doesnt have a stand, and the mods etc are ok with it, i might be able to find 2-3 spaces with UJCC if your interested, then my sup wont be the only one Just trying to find out if weve filled all 45 spaces or not.
  22. Thats what your paying for then Thats why i didnt end up listing my car on ebay, either ran the risk of selling it for nowt, or getting cained for reserve costs.
  23. Did he put a reserve on? They charge you pleanty to do that, about 2% of the reserve price i think, which on 7K is over £100
  24. Sounds very reasonable Im tempted to go into toyota, just for a giggle and see how much they charge, be impressed if it didnt consist of four numbers!
