Have you checked the rubbers are adjusted on the right / left of the engine bay corners. (They twist up /down).

Maybe the rad isnt holding pressure? i had bubbling etc when my rad had a tiny hairline crack in it. (Its new i know tho so unlikely unless its a duffer and failed compression tests.)

Im insured with Admiral, i just phoned them up they provided me with temp insurance on a new car i bought and i paid on a per day basis for the cover (i had a week in total). I bought a cheap 4x4 for camping trip, surely your insurance offers this? you shouldnt need to go to other companies. Think i paid about £50 for a weeks cover on it fully comp...... Also i got the insurance on the day i wanted to drive it, no notice was requried.

I like it when they play that film, cos it gives the Supra more exposure!!. Only yesterday i was just driving around town and i could hear the shouts from the kids, its a Supra, Its a Supra. You dont see an MR2 getting that much attention!!! I might take it out today, purely for a posing factor
