I have for the last 3 years insured my Supras with them the first year on my N/A got a good price the second year was ok and then I upgraded to a TT, I had only just paid my premium 2 weeks prior to selling my N/A and my new car wasn't due into the country untill end of Feb this year. 6 months on from renewing policy so I phoned to ask if I could freeze the policy untill my new car arrived ? NO ! So I asked if I could stop my policy and have a refund and then re insure when my new car arrived ? Yes you can but I would have lost 65% of the premium paid if I cancelled all for the sake of them insuring my car for 2 weeks ! Thanks alot ! So I was stuck with having a policy and no car for 6 months.....When my car arrived paid additional fee as I now had TT. Renewal came in the post 2 weeks ago £491 another increase on last year ! Have I had any accidents ? NO, Have I made any claims ? NO ,do I live in a high risk area ? NO , Am I a young irresponsibe driver ? NO (Well young at heart and sometimes irresponsible) ! Anyway NO THANKS SKY not this year ELEPHANT.CO.UK brilliant price all Modifications covered! happy ? Yes..... Basically it pays to shop around but just bear in mind all insurance companies are Dick Turpin in disguise It's highway Robbery made legal !

Had that on my NA and it was just the heat shield round the cat....although at a later date the baffle did start to rattle in the 1st silencer due to grounding out..

Make sure when you put them in the oven that the sunday roast isn't in there either ! LOL.....Seriously it really is worth the effort and once the lights are apart you can spray the reflector to black which then gives the appearance of facelift headlights....... I did it on my old NA and glad I did as they came up really well...... Going to be doing mine on my new car in a week or too.

No one is windin you up mate ! Stick the headlight in the oven at about 80-100 degrees untill the sealant softens then prize the apart and get cleaning ! Meguars scratch X is good stuff ! About £6 a bottle ! Just make sure when you put them together you seal them properly otherwise they will fog up ! Do another search on here there are some really good instructions available I know cos I have used them.....

I have just upgraded my jspec brakes using 3-G discs (made by Brembo) and porterfield pads this was a good but not too expensive upgrade. Have a search for 3G Brakes and see what they come up with ! Mine are bedding in just fine now the car stops !

Weather permitting I will be along and yes I believe you can buy tickets at the gate £15 I think !

6mm Allen key socket and small ratchet keep in in the centre arm rest, you can do all the bolts from the drivers seat and be topless in no time at all ! The main thing to remember is to tighten them up in the sequence shown on the diagragm otherwise the roof squeeks likes hell.....

Good to know it's all fixed and working now ! I must admit at the time I was disappointed but I am really happy with my car now ! They always say theres a reason for everything ! Anyway I am interested in the fcd as I am in the process of getting all the bits sorted to do a BPU upgrade, If it's ok with you I will confirm tomorrow. I can get a mate to collect it as he is in your area which will save the postage too...... Have you got any updated pic's of your car ? Would be good to see it with the black wheels etc.... Hi mate, I was the bloke who nearly bought your car till it blew the rad etc.......Never mind lucky for me in a way ! Apart from the long journey that is !!! Anyway the FCD is it a used one ? if so how long has it been in use for ?

A mixed view then ! If I do a full decat then what size RR would you recomend ? at least I can get an idea of where to start with it.... everything else on the engine is standard at the moment, although I will be looking at a basic BPU very soon.

I was planning to fully decat my TT but then considered the pain in the a*se issue of putting it all back for MOT purposes, If i fully decat I know will need a restrictor ring in place, what about if I only remove the second Cat ? Will I need one then ?

I have just replaced these a few weeks ago so here are the part numbers. Cushion Door : T67293-14051 £3.00 EACH Stopper, Back Door : T67281-14050 £7:10 EACH Suggestion is that you spary plenty of WD40 or better still Plus gas onto the screws as they tend to get very rusty I had a hell of a job getting them undone especially the ones in the drainage gully in the body shell as you can't get a good purchase on them with a screwdriver.
