Well thats the plan! Starting the end of April, i will be starting my project of turning my N/A Auto aerotop to a 1JZ GTE 5 speed manual! this should be fun. i have everything now for the manual conversion, and will be getting the 1JZ from littlenum on here, then its all go! this will be the biggest project i have ever attempted i will have a bit of help from some mates who are mechanics but most of it by me! im trying to gather as much reaserch as possible so i go into it with eyes wide open. and links or advice to such conversions or things to look out for would be MUCH appriciated so watch this space as i will be doing a full write up of it all. [GRIN][/GRIN]

I have seen this in person and its a very clean engine!! lol So how is the project coming along bud? she painted yet? still have not got that tranny fitted yet! just waiting for engine!!

http://www.issmart.net/cf.html?gclid=CPbD5e6y76YCFUhO4Qod7nTJFg This stuff is really good you can use it on exterior also! i used it on my skyline to do my dash and was very good to work with. when you heat it up to get round the trick bits, the film will strech but the weave wont so it still looks good! a million times better than that foilatec crap! have a shop around mate i manage to do my whole skyline dash for £30!!

i used them on my Skyline, top bloke and great workmanship. he has a proper good look at the arches first before rolling them. on my skyline, i had a bit of a replacement arch in there he told me exactly what would happen if he rolled it all the way, so he rolled it half way and checked my wheel clearence for me etc and then sealed it up! Top bloke! It was great not having to clench my ass cheeks together everytime i went over a speed hump! but then i sold it and got my aerotop!

looks good for the price! plus its a manual!! dont see too many one these about now! stick to your guns bud! £3k is a bargin if you get that, and your right those wheels will have to go!

Guys and Gals, Can you help? im going to be thinking about taking on a auto to manual conversion on my aerotop. i know there is some wiring involved to trick the ECU into thinking its in Park so the engine will start. Can anyone shed some light on this for me, like what wires it is and how to do it?? Thanks[sHOCK][/sHOCK]

i have had £1167 taken, i worked my ass off in overtime this month to get chrismas presses and bits for the Supra! i have cancelled the card but i cant think of anywhere dodgy i have used my card? im normally very good with things like that!! now im totally screwed until they sort this out!! Im total gutted!.............and when the wife finds out im in PROPER shit!

Robbing Fu%king Bastards!! i had just been online finally after a lot of internet problems, and someone has cloned my dam card!!! Right before Christmas and damm near cleaned me out!!! Im just so angry beyond anything!!!!! im going to see the bank in the morning! i cant belive this has happened!! whats the next steps has this happened to anyone else before?? PLease help!

i had the same thing! my renewal came in at £845 for a 307 diesel estate!! im 28 with 4 years NCB and no convictions etc! i called them and manged to get a sensible price but still paying more than last year!!

Thanks guys I will I would just give it to someone to do for me but like I said I want to learn it's not just cutting the cost of getting someone to fit it, I just want the sense of achievement doing it myself if that makes sense??

ah i see! i do really want to give this ago as i want to learn. i will have a friend helping me who is a mechanic but not that clued up on jap cars! so was there no one that did a thread about there conversion and how they did it?
