Guys, im looking to convert my areotop to a manual, how hard is this to do myself?? im not bad with a spanner and have a lot of patience and logical thinking towards mechanics. has anyone every done a guide on here about this?? im looking at getting just the 5 spd W58 box obviusly with the other bits to do the conversion, but any tips or things i should look out for etc????
  2. hi guys, well im back from the darkside........... i got rid of my skyline and brought another Supra, i just missed her so much!! i am now the proud owner of a 93 j spec silver aerotop! always wanted one of these! and its begging for a TT drop in! which could be in the pipeline although i have heard there is quite a wait! i will get some pics up as soon as i can, but all i can say, its good to be back driving a supra again!! :)

  4. i brought this of a member on here and have never fitted it! in fact i dont think it has ever been fitted to any car! and i doubt i will so its up for grabs for someone else! it is for a manual that i am sure of! looking for £150 + postage or i am happy to meet somewhere? i live near watford.
  5. ok one i think is LBM, saw you on the uxbridge road about 6 o clock? i was in a white civic and i think you were on your phone?? tut tut! the other was (i think) a black UK spec heading towards maple cross, i have seen this one a couple of times! is it anyone on here??
  6. just look for a barebones system and just add the hard drive of your choice and cd/dvd writers, card readers etc!
  7. have a look on a site called novatech, i built mine for around £250 with a pentium dual core, 2gig ram, 500 gig hard drive, 17 in 1 card reader, dvd lightscribe writer, and a wireless keybord and mouse! just worth having a look at....
  8. i have pro tools LE using a Delta 1010 audio interface for what i want it to do it brilliant but your right about the midi it is good but yet so complicated its good that you can use Reason as a rewire for it but i have not ventured out of grid mode yet...so we will see spent some time with it today well the whole week! now the girlfriend is jelous and i have to take her shopping tomorrow! might have ended up costing me more that i thought!!
  9. i have just aquired this bit of software and very impressed! but very different to what i did use before ( cubase, logic etc) anyone know of any good sites to learn from or where i can download sessions from to twat about with??

  11. Thanks for the help! i think its B but not sure can anyone comfirm this?? its just two parts that i have ( Throttle body - manifold and then intake manifold to the rest of it! if that helps? )

  14. Great idea for home but its a bit hard to find a jug of warm water in a station car park.....although that has got me thinking....all i would need is a just really.....and a bush!

  16. its really when i come home from work and its parked in the station. i have been warming it up, but after a night shift you really wanna get to bed and not sat in the car for an extra 10 mins. i really dont mind that much as ....same as all of you...love my car but just wanted a quicker option! the main reason i ask this is because its a J spec and just wondering if the paint is different in anyway? i know there is a lot of chemicals i guess in the deicer, so just wanted to know its safe before it takes my paint off!! Thanks:d
