'Decent' seems abit of a flippent comment!!! Assume your manual hence the ease of getting into the 13's when stock??

    I could be wrong but the below is taken from the drag times thread, this is where the stocks seem to come in so I did not do too bad. 70. 14.0931 @ 102.26 mph Henk 60ft 2.4232 330ft 6.2411 1/8et 9.2621 1/8 mph 81.17 mph 1000ft 11.8108 (auto) JAP (Santapod) (STOCK) 71. 14.178 @ 103.30 mph Kghelmet 60ft 2.6 72. 14.19 @ 103 mph GetawayDriver (TT6) UK (TSC 2) 73. 14.2990 @ 98.64 mph Juanchan 60ft 2.4770 330ft 6.3879 1/8et 9.4390 1/8 mph 81.98 mph 1000ft 11.9952 (auto) UK (Santapod) (STOCK) 74. 14.292 @ 105.10 mph S Crane 60ft 2.8 75. 14.348 @ 101.89 mph Mr. Angry 60ft 2.6 76. 15.0371 @ 93.93 mph Edd_T 60ft 2.5022 330ft 6.5280 1/8et 9.8603 1/8 mph 76.38 mph 1000ft 12.5871 (TT6) JAP (Santapod) (STOCK) 77. 15.088 @ 100.08 mph Amazing Grace 60ft 3.0 JAP

depends on manual or auto I suppose but from my own experience Stock TT were in the 14's I coud not better a 14.6 and others were around the same, I think the best stock we saw (where we new the spec) at rotorstock was 14.2 if I remember cirrectly. TrickTT was in the 13's and if I recall correctly he was mostly BPU.

I would have Gav but mine will be BPU hopefully by the weekend
  7. Looks very nice! I can understand the no TT thing if you dont want to go down the route but if your going to change why not go for something different like a Aerotop?? or is that just not for you?
  8. That sounds like a great idea
  9. A question with a point to it what exhaust is it and what differences have you noticed??
  10. Widnes is not that far although £20 seems rediculously cheap. Everywhere I have spoken to are quoting around £50-70 and dont really want to do it for fear of bolt issues. Both Danmar (although I did not speak to kenny) and TDI are £60 but did not really want to take the work on. Hyper is looking the best at the min(cheers Adz)

13? you have to be BPU for that sort of time?? if thats the case then the video is unrealistic. I would have loved to have taken my NA down the strip but ive only done it in the TT and I doubt the NA would be anywhere near as quick, or fun. At Rotorstock I was up againist a stock NA and was quite shocked. It was my second run (I had a crap start, well thats my excuse and im sticking to it), no power breaking and the NA murdered me off the line easily 3-4 car lengths, however as I hit second and the turbos came on line he was reeled in very qucikly and I crossed the line a good few car lengths in front of him.
  12. cheers guys, As said I would do it myself but dont have the axle stands and for the price I may as well get someone to do it for me. Cheers

    Exhaust

now you tell me after I have bought one - Rob if they drone like hell that beer I owe you just got retracted I will post comments once I have fitted mine.
  14. Sharpie, hows it going with the engines? The old one repairable? The spec on the new one ahs been kept very quiet??
  15. Cheers Gaz, Chris is a bit far to go though was looking for somewhere more local, Warrington, wigan that sort of thing. TDI north I have tried but they dont bother getting back to you so obviously dont need the work! I have no issues getting the cat back part fitted, as you say anywhere will do that but places are wise to issues with first decat and refuse to do it - fear of stripping or shearing the studs.
  16. What sort of prices have people paid for fitting a full turbo back exhaust with restrictor ring. Also where in the NW have people used? I’ve got all the parts just getting impatient to get it done. Done the fuel pump today which was easy enough, just a pain getting the large plastic bolt undone. I’ve got a price of £50 for the first decat which I think is expensive!?, also the garage seemed to know very little about what’s involved so it wont be going there! I would do it myself but access is the problem, could really do with a ramp!
  17. This brings tears to your eyes Definatly made me thing about the stuff i have done without wearing goggles. - me from now on!
  18. yep that was good, but Vicky's photo skills show you up mate
  19. No probs mike, cheers. got all parts for BPU on monday so that work begins next week. did not take long!
  20. Great day guys! Really enjoyed the run even if we did not get to play. Pancakes were spot on as usual. Sharpie im sorry the day ended the way it did for you! Hope your not too gutted and it does not end up costing you too much money. Hopefully Chris can help keep the promise of a working engine. Great photos H although the best one has to be Vicky's of us all round Sharpie's engine bay.
  21. weather does indead look a vast improvment over last time. Im going for the time already mentioned as I think its too late to change them. However thats easy for me to say as I dont have kids and babysitters etc so over to you guys!
  22. Got to have a go! and yes did get PM in first Cheers, not that far for a good quality exhaust!
  23. Cheers for the pointer guys £330??
