  1. i know what you mean bud. Yes this has been going around for flipping ages, Will do a little video of old vs New bud. 99.9% its the flywheel.
  2. Not yet bud, i took these pics before i attacked her with G1 cleaning compound today, she came up a treat, but i still need to get her detailed with a Machine polish. My friend will do it, just need to book it in with him.
  3. I think im going to bud, im going the completely stock look. I just the trim for when i take everything off.
  4. Gave the car a good clean today, can't have her looking like a tramp for going to get my flywheel fitted. Noticed my Spat coming off, so i pulled it off to see if i like the look of With or without spats? I like both TBH. So if anyone has the trim needed for when i take these off money is waiting. When i pulled the Spat off i noticed this on closer inspection. It should pull out easy enough, i'll pop over to my mates bodyshop and he cant fix it.,
  5. Picked up my Flywheel for getting it Fitted on Monday, looks the nuts. This will cure my rattling problem, can't wait as its driving me Nuts.
  6. Dont mind at all, And this is why I got another car from you bud. 2 cars in 7 years says a lot. and you always answer phone calls. And questions I have. And have delt with all my little niggles quickly. I'll say it again, no complaints and a happy customer. I would always go to jurgen for an imported car. Simple as that. I'm positive it's the flywheel. I'll bet one of my cheat days on it. I'm that confident. Lol. Just wait till you see the updates I have planned for this car. And you'll see it been a great buy. I didn't buy this car to drive like miss daisy. I bought it to nail the life out of it. things will break and I'll upgrade them. Simple!
  7. All cars will have issue's bud, Jurgen has been great in dealing with them, no complaints from me. My last car had a good few issue's also, but TBH i dont mind its all part of modding. There was always an Issue with this noise, been loads of threads over the years. tbh everyone thought it was just part of a noisey getrag, imo thats wrong a stuffed flywheel is the culprit
  8. cool. Im 99.9% sure its the flywheel matey, i'll get some pics and a video of the gubbed one.
  9. Right so as my flywheel is shot, i've ordered a stock OEM one form Toyota for £439. I did loads of digging and actually found the flywheel cheaper else where, but with shipping and tax, it works out about £15 cheaper than toyota. But with peace of mind and being local if anything goes wrong i can return it. So i've gone with the toyota flywheel. I pick it up tomorrow and get it fitted either on Sat, or on Monday. Flywheel Part Number 13450-0W011 £439
  10. If you have a problem and no one else can help maybe you can hire the SRD TEAM. See what i did there,
  11. Mine is stuffed mate, everytime i change gear i get the a tin can full of nails nosie, in every gear change. I just go this back from the company above this is the factory flywheel made by luk for the aftermarket. if you bought from toyota you would get the same flywheel with toyota and the oe # etched on it with the Luk name embossed on it. mine will have the aftermarket # etched on it with the same Luk embossing. forward me your complete ship to address for the shipping price
  12. i found this in the states > http://www.carolinaclutch.com/ShowItem/105925%20Toyota%20New%20LuK%20Dual%20Mass%20Flywheel.aspx Question is, is a Toyota DMF the same as a LUX one? i.e Do LUK make them for Toyota? see link above? does the flywheel make any noise mate?
  13. My flywheel has had it, so looking to replace it. Now my question is do LUK make the Toyota DMF and then just stamp it Toyota? cheers guys
  14. Isn't that the Envy Car?
  15. Steve I'm looking at OEM flywheels just now. Toyota want 449 up here. Got whiffin getting me prices. 2x flywheels might get us more off.
  16. Right, little update on this So Jurgen has replaced the Box, clutch, clutch mount, and the problem is still present. With more digging around the net, it turns out it looks as though i have a stuffed flywheel. Here is what im getting, with the noise being identical So im heading back to Jurgen's to get a flywheel put in. Drive home will be silent
  17. where is the option for all of the above? Remember chicks dig older guys,
  18. it was, looks fine. Its not to say that it still aint fubard
  19. gearbox changed, still same. im going with flywheel
  20. sound like this? This is the problem im having. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kYgMUidk5w
  21. I had an AEM v1, rubbish imo, Ryan could not get the cold map right at all, switched to the Syvecs and all was good, even made more power.
  22. Sorry bud, i was keeping an eye on this car for a while, and had the cash waiting to pay in one go. So snapped it up. As much as i loved my single for being a pure animal, i did have a small hate for it. One being due to driving it in and about town. The clutch i had was horrible, it was either on or off, as biting point it was as if it was falling out the box, and had the tin can full of nuts and bolts sound to it. For a stock feeling clutch it was mega money carbon triple. Once you got past that, the boost was crazy when it came on line, very very linear compared to BPU twins. More so going single is alot of money(you need to do it right imo), and when you finish your build, you get used to the car very quickly and want more power, for the money i sunk into the car, i could have had a GTR. or a dam good deposit to put down on one. I love my new car, for being just a normal car, jump in, drive off with it being stock, and non BPU just now. This car will be so different, it will be BPU, nice rims, couple carbon parts job done. So i can enjoy it, if it breaks i'll replace, no big repair bill if it was a single setup. All in all, i loved both my cars for different reasons, but you can't beat practicability with power to suit it.
