  1. Got mine fitted yesterday, I finally have working front speakers, great bits of kit. Thanks very much for getting them out to me before the bank holiday weekend, its really appreciated!
  2. Cheers for the replies! My boost controller looks similar to the one pictured, but it is a single unit. I think hiding it in the glove box is probably going to be the most sensible option. I've now seen that there is a huge amount of options for the camera if I do get one. The boot barrel is a good idea, I might have a think about that.
  3. Hi all, Now my car is back up and running, I'm desperate to tinker, particularly tidying up the interior. I've got a HKS EVC 6 boost controller that I put in a "temporary" position (8 years ago) above the single DIN stereo. The stereo is currently in the lower section of the double-din area. My plan is to change the stereo to a double din unit and move the boost controller elsewhere, but I'm not sure where? Has anyone come up with novel ideas of where to put theirs? I've got a defi boost gauge so I don't have to see the controller all of the time. I did think about hiding it in the arm rest, although the controller for the gauges is already in there. I'm thinking of getting the Pioneer SPH-DA120, mainly for the apple carplay. Has anyone fitted one of these into the double din? If so, is it a straight fit? Is there anything else that needs to be done for it to work? I've not fitted a stereo in years, and I'm hoping it'll be plug and play. While I'm at it, I'm going to replace the speakers. I've ordered a set of the speaker conversion for the fronts. Are the rears a standard fit? Are there any suggestions for reversing camera's? It'd be amazing to have one that utilises the stereo. Its a very tight squeeze into my garage, anything that makes it easy would be huge. And finally, I'll be replacing the stock dials. I bought a set of Speedhut custom dials years ago and I've never got around to replacing them so its time to give it a go. Any advice or suggestions welcome. it looks really easy on the instructions they sent, which is a worry!

    Maybe he just means me?
  5. Passed the MOT this afternoon! Emissions test was a bit of a problem, but it got there in the end. Everything else seems fine. Took the kids out for a spin and I was grinning from ear to ear!
  6. Cheers for the suggestions! Plastidip is on order!
  7. Hey all, The plastic active spoiler lip on my Supra has a scratch along it. Does anyone know if there's any way to remove the scratch? Its off the car at the moment, so I'm toying with painting it but its not something I've done before, so any other suggestions (or advice on painting it) would be appreciated. Cheers!
  8. So close and yet so far. Car was up and running, we were refilling the cooling system but it looks like the alternator has gone. New battery but lost all charge. It looks like she won't be getting mod'd on Tuesday
  9. Hey guys. I need to replace the water temp gauge sensor. Does anyone know the part number for a TT? Cheers!

  12. Thanks guys, looks like I missed the parts I need on the thread but I'll send an email across to tcbparts. I'm on Anglesey mate. I did used to see a couple of Supra's when I first moved up here, but I've only seen one red one recently around the Valley area. First one I've seen in a couple of years I think!
  13. Hey guys. I've not posted in a long time. I had to move to North Wales and unfortunately, it meant a hit on my disposable income. For the past few years, the old girl has been parked up in my garage - but finally its time to get her back on the road. Its been so long since I've driven my Supra that I've forgotten most of what little I knew, and it seems like there's a lot less traders on here! I had the car running last week, and it had developed a bit of a odd noise from the Aux timing belt tensioner, so that'll need replacing. But there's a few bits I want to get done so I'm after some advice of where to go to purchase the following: Aux Drive Belt Tensioner Aux Drive Belt Cambelt Cambelt Tensioner Water Pump I presume Toyota would be best for these? Is there still a friendly Toyota dealership that gives discount here? Which spark plugs are best for a BPU Supra? Also, and its not that important, but the the air intake pipes for the Turbo's are a bit stiff, and I'd wanted to change them years ago. Is Samco still the best option? Cheers!
  14. Yep, its a koenigsegg. Great car but twitchy as hell Did the design myself though its very very basic compared to most!
  15. Couple of mine. I can dream http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/4905/19285797.jpg http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/4827/forza3t.jpg
  16. Didn't you say that yesterday?! Incidentally, I managed to fix the NAT thing or whatever it was. Reset the router to factory settings. Apparently the BT Homehub randomly likes to change settings
  17. I think some tips on how to re-join a race after spinning off the track so the slow bugger at the back doesn't slam into the side of your car may be required!
  18. The downside is that this may prove that my tune was amazing and no driver skill!
  19. After reviewing the video evidence, the independant judge has declared that Harpsy was not at fault for the crashes on the first corner of Silverstone. Those at fault know who they are. Especially in the second race. It was quite shocking! Would be good to do a stock race so all the cars are equal. I think some had far better set ups than others. As in, everyone elses was better than mine
  20. X-Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. The programmes that TV is generally clogged up with. Even if you don't like it, you can't say its not unique.
  21. Read my message again The important word there is typical. No, its a bad thing about the people you converse with.
  22. I give up, god knows why a bloody router decides to change its NAT setting to strict half way through a race but I can't get back on any games.
  23. I really need to practice Though in my defence, I did have some problems with an unruly toddler, cars pulling out in front of me, and now my stupid bloody router has decided to be difficult and wont let me join games Typically, it did it whilst I was doing fairly well in a race. I can almost hear the sigh of relief
