    Yo!

in that case buy mine not 500BHP but still a hell a lot of fun
  2. You've shown the only way an n/a can overtake a TT.....by going the other way to it:p I must say I keep seeing you, and do love the sound when you show off from the lights. Keeps making me want to keep mine Just watch that stretch before it turns into dual carriageway, the old bill love that spot, but only during the day though, that time in morning is usually fine
  3. there's one in a black plastic bottle (off the shelf), has two sides to it which mix when you pour it down the plug hole, tends to work for us...can't remember the name of it though, think it has a picture of a plug hole on the front...

    Yo!

welcome, what's your previous cars been?
  5. congratulations guys Just make sure you take some time out (even if only 10mins) during the day together without anyone else, as it's a busy day and it'll fly by. Then it's some honeymoon fun
  6. his buyer has a few problems raising the cash at the moment, should find out next week if he's got the cash together (bit like a house buyers chain at the moment lol), no deposit yet so still available, open to offers
  7. she did want a mini clubman, but they're too expensive, she'll only dent it somewhere...
  8. firtsly guys it's a car for the wife (my considerations come second), who's not into fast cars as mentioned, so please forget the sports cars (including estates) And secondly it's more likely to be hatchback I'd have thought so she doesn't bang it into everything in sight. Cheap to run, insure and easy for a learner to use please......
  9. 1) Not got 4 doors.... 2) Far too thirsty (worse than the supe), for £5k I'd expect some issues with that engine that won't be cheap as well 3) Far too big for her, something she's not really going to learn to drive in to be honest she hasn't passed her test, so needs to be something a learner can get insured on as well without costing a fortune
  10. I've decided the best thing is for me to buy a car for the missus so she can learn to drive ahead of giving birth to our child. However she won't be using it much so there's no point in both of us having a car until the baby is born (waste of money on 2x tax, insurance etc. etc.). So once the supra's sold I'll buy her one. Therefore what's a good car that women tend to like, that's a safe car to carry babies/kids in, and something that I won't look a prat driving for the next 5 months? Not fussed about it being petrol or diesel, won't be doing enough miles to warrant the extra cost of the diesel probably (10k a year, moving to a lot less once the baby's born and only she drives it), and she's not too fussed about power. Budget is looking around the £5k mark probably, and must have 4 doors. Then come April, not only will I gain a new son/daughter, but also get me a nice powerful car again as will have saved more money between now and then

    New job!

glad something's going right for you
  12. bet you're getting itchy feet waiting for that to be handed back to you Nice work guys!
  13. They seem to love that place, never been pulled once yet (touch wood), but then again I have tax, MOT and insurance, and I obviously don't speed, so no reason to pull me I work in Theale so would've been on my way home
  14. nice french restuarant, can't remember it's name though helpfully.... If there's a rugby game on, go see it, the Rec is a great ground with a great atmosphere, and a chance to get the beers in
  15. Happy days for me, BoE -0.01% (with no lower limit) until March 2010, then BoE +0.59% for the rest of the mortgage term, got that one in just before they went nuts and changed everything this year
  16. very true, however you were cursing me really weren't you, wishing you had a TT

welcome, good luck with your search
  19. still selling, may be gone within the month to Germany, find out Saturday as the guy's selling his to buy mine. Have mixed feelings of happy it's finally going, but sad that it's going at the same time, but the missus is getting bigger and the car is getting less comfortable for her...
  20. go for a BPU supra, plenty of power
  21. fingers crossed, may have a buyer from Germany, just a couple of things to sort and should have the deposit this week
