  1. I like both ideas but carefully does't go well with me, if it can go wrong it will with me!!!
  2. I know there are loads of threads on these things and they seem to come up every month but I cant find the answer to my question. I've just been sanding down my dash to spray it and have aquired a blister or two but it occured to me that you cannot remove the gator from the gear stick as it is stuck down. To the guys who have sprayed their dashes themselves... how did you get around this? did you tape down the surround remove it and stick it back on or what?
  3. I almost bought a UK spec Supe and put down £500 deposit. The guy said to me he wouldgive it back if there was anything wrong with the car as he didn't wanna sell me a dud which was cool. I got the RAC report back and spoke to them and they said they wouldn't pay £4k let alone the £10k asking price. Every panel had been worked on or replaced, pipes were leaking and the wheels had corroded a so had the brakes etc - but it looked fine! (they all do to me) I called and he said it was fine to get the money back but he then ignored all calls and texts from me so i went past his house and saw the car the drive and waited for him in his local with a mate. I was still calling him but got no answer so I gave up and knocked on his door and got my money back and saw my beauty a few days later and bought it from a genuine guy!
  4. too late! I'd probably back up on it to be safe, I think he problem would be from the path to your drive if anything
  5. just back up to be safe - it depends how low it is and how the drive rises, unless you're feeling brave and take it slowly and listen for the scrape! What ever you do DONT take a picture of your drive as Mawby will start getting paranoid!! When I had my Golf it was a bit too low to get up my ol' mans drive so I had to back it up - the Supra wont get anywhere near it!
  6. there were about 10 of them and they tried running after me after I swerved to run one of them over - what idiot chases after a 3 litre!!!
  7. I dont want to jinx anything but mine has been alright so far, although I have had people kick the Supe as I have driven past and people park sooo close to it its scary! You do see a lot of envy though!
  8. There is so many now in Woking and its not llike I've noticed them more now I have a Supra. I've been mad about them for years and always notice them. I suprised I haven't seen mine on here I drive it everywhere!!!
  9. True, I was being greedy I guess!!
  10. How great would it be to have a V8 under the bonnet tho!! How "easy" is this conversion?
  11. Jurgen you have to find out if this is true and if it is get some European mates!!!
  12. Cool, thanks for your help
  13. anything really, as long as I can hook it up to a vent on my bumper and keep the hot air out and the cold in
  14. It looks like I'm on my own.... Will have to go Blue Peter style, where's the paper and sissors....?
  15. I'm after a cold air ram feed thingy for my HKS air filter like this one... http://www.envyperformance.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=1064 The Supe's a N/A and I love the sound it makes when its cold so I've gotta get more cold air fed to it when the engine is hot. I cant seem to find one for it, its probably due to the fact I dont really know what its called. Can anyone point me in the right direction or would you recommend making something myself out of fibreglass?
  16. maybe we should all chip in to pay for a post 98 Supra to be tested (only a few thousand if I remember a previous thread right) - It's something I'd be interested in, maybe not right now but in a few years I would be (thinking long term)
  17. I swear that pic was different earlier today - maybe I was workign too hard? - never again will i work that hard (at work at least)
  18. I guess it broke before then, otherwise I would ask why dont you drive it every day I drive mine with pride evryday , I dont feel right if drive anything else!!!
  19. I'd only get rid of the Supe to get a newer twin turbo with VVTi or do a conversion
  20. Hmmm, mine was imported with a bodykit and the door sticks slightly out but thats it. Jurgen imported it so I'm sure its fine!!!

    Car Parks

I cant get in anywhere with a slight raise in the road. I dont think my supra is low enough but the front scrapes everywhere if its not the front its the skirts or exhaust where it hangs low still the car looks good!
