I know I know - idiot for being on the phone, I dont usually do it and I dont think I will be again! he did say there are no points for it yet so I guess there will be soon. I just got a fixed penalty notice. he started telling me how we're not in the states now (true) and how I wanted to be stateside (false) and that I've only done it because it looks better (true - but I didn't tell him that) and I still got to work on time!!! and got several texts and emails laughing cos they saw me pulled!

he was coming towards me and I wasn't on the phone and then he came screaming up behind me and I was, I'm usually on the lookout as well but somehow the riot van with flashing blue lights snuck up on me!!! The guy was a bit of an ass at first and said I bet you've never had it on there have you so I showed him the holes and said the bolts had rusted through. He then started saying I bet you go to the Guildford cruise and trying to get on that idiot Saxo/Nova/Corsa vibe. He gave me a producer and said get it sorted and report to this place, send this here, pay this there, in 28 days, 14 days and 7 days - too many forms! Funny as I got pulled by police in London on Sunday and they were more interested in the Supe and said sort the plate when you can - and they are meant to be stricter!!

.... for having no front number plate and for being on the phone as he pulled me -ooops! £30 down the drain rather than under my right foot!

i think he has realised he bought a stinker then!! If only mine did 35-40mpg i'd be well happy!! I wish I'd have known N/A's are more to insure than TT's before I got mine - nevermind!

I thought they were to set off down the motoway at 150mph+ or is that for stunt planes only?

can you guys get over the bumps down shooters hill? or am I thinking of Maize hill? I always try to avoid that road just in case!

I almost went to buy this one, everyone here said its not a facelift version and stay well away. the guy I bought my Supre from said he bought a car from there and it screwed up badly despite looking lovely. Thanks to all on the forum for all your help a couple of months ago - I now have quite a tasty car!

thank you!!! it took a long time to get mine as clean as Mr T's!! When I left Beachy Head there was some strange black stuff over the front bumper - guess I'll be cleaning it again!!

Thanks for a great day, me and julie really enjoyed it and it was a great day for the meet its a shame that one arm is now more tanned than the other!!! I had a quick drive round Brighton but that too was gridlocked like the motorways and saw another black Supra. I haven't uploaded many pics yet but here are the ones so far...

I know the facelift TT is different to the pre facelift N/A. There are three smaller guages on the TT where there is a big fuel gauge on the N/A

I've removed most of the rubber from the dash but I am having a few issues with the tighter gaps like where the recess is for the screws on the top part of the dash and where the small displays are telling you that your door is open etc. How did you guys get in these gaps? Do you have any suggestions or tips?

I have 18's on mine and they look too small - I want 19's!
