  1. Ive put a new engine in my supra and have these for sale. I have no idea what these things are worth. If your interested p.m, me with an offer.
  2. My Sup is a dark metalic blue (not standard colour). Im getting the car painted in the next few weeks and thought you all could give me some ideas of what kind of blue i could do it. Something that stands out and is nice and shiney, but not too light. Any ideas.
  3. Cheers for all the help Robert. ill let you know how i get on. Thanks again mate.
  4. So just out of interest Robert why do people change from an Aristo engine to a Supra 1, is there a power difference. I HOPE NOT.
  5. The turbos must be the same though. I think I will also change the turbo manifold just to make sure the downpipe will fit. I dont want to put it all together and go to put the downpipe on just to find out its at the wrong angle.
  6. If im putting the Supra water pump on the engine fan off the supra should be ok as it attaches to the pump wheel. As for the turbo downpipes if i bolt the bit that attaches to the turbos before the downpipe, (dont know what its called, the thing with the big actuator on it) that should cure that problem, shouldnt it.
  7. I know these are different. Water pump. A/C compressor Boost pipes are slightly different. Intake has no top feed for brake booster. Is the sump different. As the one on the Aristo engine is dinted and I was going to change it for the Supra 1. I would appreciate a list of things which also need changing.
  8. The sump on the new engine is dinted slightly, does this mean I cant replace it with the sump off my Supra engine.
  9. As above. Will consider second hand but not in need of repair.[GRIN][/GRIN]
  10. Great thanks guys. The transplant starts on Tuesday.
  11. That wont make any difference if it an aristo engine will it.I will just be able to swap the water pump and the boost pipes and it will be fine or is there anything else i will need to change.
  12. Heres a pic of the water pump, and a couple of the boost pipes, not the best pics as i took them with my phone.
  13. My new engine arrived the other day and ive compard it to the 1 thats in and theres some minor differences, can anyone please explain why. The water pump seems different, theres a great big chuffing sensor sticking out of it, which mine doesnt have. Also the turbo pipes are also different to the re-cerculating valve. The valve is bolted like a flange type fit the the pipe but mine just connects with 2 pipes. Odviously i can just change the water pump and boost pipes for the ones from my own engine but am wondering why they are different. Were there any engine components changed at any point. My car is a J-spec 1994 TT engine.
  14. I am fitting an oil cooler and filtr relocation kit. I am wondering, where is the best place to locate the oil cooler itself, what and how will I secure it to.

Does anyone know where i would get the paint code for this colour of blue. m car is being painted in the next couple of weeks (hopfully) and I love the colour. My car is already blue but not a stock Toyota colour and wanted something abit more bright.
  17. Am i right in thinking that this is for the air con because I think its leaking and will need replacing.
  18. The bonnet isnt a stock toyota colour Turbo pipes are still avaliable. Please p.m me if interested in any parts. Cheers for the interest folks.
  19. Oh well I gues its engine out then. Ive taken engines and stripped them before but nothing this size but i suppose an engines an engine. Theres only 1 way to learn. No dought ill be asking alot of questions and queries to you guys on the way if you dont mind. Thanks for all the help so far.
