  1. Hi. Im having problems sorcing a UK 1st decat pipe seems they are pretty hard to get hold of, I have a HKS Super Dragger all the way back to the end of the 1st cat, if that helps or hinders. If anyone has one (and is wanting to sell) or knows where I can get one (member or trader), then please contact me. Cheers. Bob.
  2. Thanks Burna, Im glad somone talked to me. I need to have a good look at my exhaust to make sure that the sensor where the second cat was is there, the pipe I have fitted goes all the way from the rear box to the first cat, so it would work out expensive to get Gaz to do it. Cheers Bob.
  3. Hi. what roughly would the postage be on those and would they fit a UK. Bob.
  4. Hi. I think this thread is begining to get close to dropping off the edge of the world now so Ill give it a bump then go over to the tech section, anyone able to help with the above questions. Bob.
  5. Hi everyone. Ive been watching this thread develop for a time now and Im very intrested in the sports cat Nic posted, though I have a few questions and if anyone could answer them it would be greatly appreciated. I have a UK TT with second cat removed and a super dragger and pipe through to the first cat, would adding a sports cat give me a better bhp? would I have a problem with O2 sensors? (are there 2 on a uk?) and slightly aside, everyone talks about fitting an RR on a full de-cat J spec do you not need it on the UK TT? Cheers. Bob.
  6. Just read it all, I come across bad crashes pretty frequently (ff) but I have to say it does make me think more when its one of the club. There realy arent words that can be said that will help all the people that will be involved with this and what a bad time too. My deepest condolances go to all. To all of us, Right time, Right place, Right way. Bob.
  7. Just like to say a big thanks to Wayne for the seats, went to pick them up on Wednesday night. Have to say he did all the taking out and putting in, cheers, hope my seats come in handy for him. I have done a few changes to the colours now Ive got them, changed the logo to gold and I am in the painstaking task of changing all the blue stitching to black with a perminnant marker, looks good so far. Im going to try and get some pictures up but they are too large to go on at the moment. Done it. Hope everyone has a great Christmas. Bob.
  8. Thanks people, just have to get them, fit them, smell them (the higher up leathery bits), then get pushed back in them by the mad speed, then Ill be ok, lol like agent smith. cheers all. Bob.
  9. Hi Rob Still dont know whats going on. Bob.
  10. Hi anyone like to talk to me. Bob
  11. Are these electric and heated? Bob.
  12. Hi. Chris Wilson for all your brake stuff and you can go up to 19" without serious mods, just check they fit over your brake type and the offset is right. All the best. Bob.
  13. Chris. Lots of posts on this thread of yours so I thought I would add my two penneth. Had a lovely silver 96 6 speed N/A for 4 years, great car but I ALWAYS had this voice in the back of my head saying shoulda gotta TT. Well I did this year, now most of the voices in my head have now gone to be replaced by others like "wow that felt good" as the dribble runs from the side of my mouth. Anyway back to the subject, GET A TT. Price wise, more to buy and mine costs me about £60 a month all in more than the N/A, there is a big differance in speed, mine is a UK part BPU auto and goes from standstill to any speed very quickl. In the N/A you will be pestered by all the above mentioned cars but not in a good TT. Best of luck (get a TT ). Bob.
  14. Cheers M4RK RZ, got the rad cover a few days ago, fitted looking good, no probs in post. Thanks. Bob.

Hi yup, they are pacifics same as mine. Bob.
  16. Well done, thats another one in the club, I realy think it makes it look more sophisticated with smoother lines, Im on my second tailless and have noticed no differance in handling, though this is my first winter with a TT so Ill have to be a little more carefull around corners. looks grate. Bob.
  17. Thanks for all your answers, Ive gone ahead and everything seems ok for her. I was just a bit worrid I may cause another problem somewhere else, at least it will give time to get to a scrappy. Cheers. Bob.
  18. Its a M reg Cavilier 18i Thanks. Bob.
  19. Hi. My sons girlfriend has water leaking from the heater into the car and they, or me havnt got the time or the money right now to get it sorted. This is obviously causing an overheat problem and needs constantly topping up. My question is could I just bypass the heater with a suitable hose and do without heat for now, will this cause a problem else where? it looks an easy enough job but I dont wont to cause other problems. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Bob.
