    BOV Leak

Anybody else come across this with stock gear? is there anything to be gained by fitting an aftermarket BOV. Bob.
  2. Thanks Nic, looks like Ill have to start saving again. Bob.
  3. P***OKO I think, Gunmetal with a body kit, at the Seven Stars pub on the A272 not far from Langrish. It was about 2 o clock on Saterday afternoon. Dont you always see one in a boozer car park when you havent got a card on you. Bob.

    BOV Leak

Hi Joe. I have stock UK set up appart from induction, single de-cat and 4" exh and I dont know what sort of boost, I pressume normal.
  6. Thanks for your replys, I have Khumos on 19" but I dont feel like its tyres and its probably worse going forward, I think Ill try and bleed them but I have this nagging feeling its the pump. Anyone got any ball park figures for prices to buy one? Many thanks. Bob.
  7. Hi Some more questions, Im getting rather good at this. When Im off choke and just normal idle ( around 600 ) if Im just moving off or at very low speeds I get a juddering feel through the stearing wheel, sometimes only slight but sometimes ( on or near full lock ) realy noticable. Is this something I need to get looked at/or look at myself? The PS res is full and doesnt seem to leak. Thanks for any help. Bob.
  8. Hi Gary. I have a thread somewhere in this section recently about the same subject, I bought a car with UK brakes I referbed them and put on new discs I was very carefull to make sure everything went back on and in the same way and afterwards I noticed this knocking at slow speeds. I cant say that it wasnt there before because of the time of year and having windows open or closed. I did get advice that it is always best to change the pads at the same time as the discs so I did, knocking still there. Let me know if the kit made any differance, by the way my knock is just at the rear. Cheers. Bob.

    BOV Leak

Hi Y all. I have what looks like an oilly deposit onder my BOV, it doesnt seem much (a few drops a month ish), I have a standerd one on a UK TT, is this bad? should it be oilly? is it worth getting an HKS one or OEM? if it is faulty what effect would this have? Lots of questions I know, Im OK at changing things and fixing things I know about but there is a lot of tech stuff that I dont, so any constructive help would be great. Cheers. Bob.

  12. Only just seen reminder P M sorry, payment sent. Cheers. Bob.
  13. Cheers, yes it is an auto, I presume its for the second kick down because it drops one if I put my foot down and dont reach the button and if I go to the bottom of range of accelerator I get two drops.
  14. What the *** is the small button/switch/plunger thing on the floor under the accelerator? had the car three months now and its the first time Ive noticed it, (whilst cleaning).
  15. Spotted whilst getting Sunday paper in Stubbington (Hampshire) car park, jambed a card in door handle, (probably cant get in it now). :) Bob.
  16. Today at Fareham Halfords, A27 at 11.00
  17. Hi. Have you got any pictures, especially the bad bit. Bob.
  18. Hi Scooter. No that wasnt what I was on about but I now know what you mean and they are in place too. Ive compared all brakes on the car and I have looked at diagrams and I am pretty sure there isnt anything missing. Bob.
  19. Hi. Yes UK brakes, they were easy to remove and the pins are as loose as they should be and the retaining clip is in place at the end of both pins. Bob.
  20. Thanks Homer, no I didnt change the pads with the disc change and the old discs were very very badly worn, though the pads dont look too old, but that could be a big factor pad wear. So Ill get some rear pads, I shouldnt have to change the front as well for balance or anything should I ? because everything at the front is fine. Ill order up some new pads change them and let everyone know how it goes. Cheers. Bob.
  21. Sorry, I must have hit the wrong key on titling the thread and I dont seem to be able to change it.
  22. Hi Everyone. Got a "clunking" just wondered if anyone has had experiance or has got some helpfull advice. I have already looked through all the clunking posts and I have come across the same thing a few times but with no conclusions. It comes from the rear offside and clunks every time on initial braking, (only checked it in a forwards motion so far), it sounds like the pad is moving in the caliper and nocking against the side of the caliper. I have changed the rear discs two weeks ago but I have only had the car 6 weeks and I have had little chance to have the window down so I dont know if it was there previously. I have had the wheel off a couple of times and checked it out and compaied it with the other brakes, al seams fine and the same. The brakes are UK not that it should make any defferance. Anything on this matter would be greatly apreciated. Cheers. Bob.
  23. Both these items are now sold. Bob.
