  1. You would be better with UK 550 injectors fitted,
  2. Will it be best to do this with the bumper off or fit it when I change the rad? presumably it sits in front of the rad. Would it go behind the side vents even though there is the IC behind one and another cooler (presumably the oil cooler) behind the other?
  3. I am just about to start to replace my UK auto rad with an after market one and I also have to fit an auto box Setrab cooler, can anyone give me advice on where the best place to fit it on a uk is, because there isn't a lot of room. Thanks.
  4. I laugh in the face of your forty, ha....... Only difference is the grin gets bigger, especially in tunnels, seriously, people go on about, "oh reached that time of life have we", and "its just an ego thing", just say, with pride "Yep".
  5. Well done Andrew, that's quite a task you've taken on, I've had one over the past years, and it would be a shame to loose it, I don't know how we can encourage more to buy them. I hope you are entering one of your latest pictures, with the low level spoiler on.
  6. I think J spec disc removal is the same as uk, your rear disc should have ( around the hub part, where your handbrake shoes are) some holes, one of them should have a rubber bung in, if it hasn't then you need to get down low and shine a torch. What you need to do is turn the disc/hub till one of the holes is at "bottom dead centre" have a look in the hole, if it is the right hole you should see a star wheel in the vertical plane, if its not the right hole you need to turn to the next hole and repeat till you can see the little wheel. Once you have the wheel in sight you need to stick a screw driver through the hole so you can turn the wheel, I think you have to turn it upwards, this should loosen off the disc, it may need a tap with a plastic/rubber mallet, if its still not coming off try turning the wheel downwards, I just can't remember off hand which way, my head says up, but.
  7. Have you taken out the rubber bung on the disc, put a screw driver in and turned the star wheel to loosen the handbrake adjuster to enable removal of the disc?
  8. 3G do UK grooved and dimpled discs, they look good, but they are a bit more than stock, having had both, I have gone back to stock with Chris Wilson pads, they do stop you better, plus if you have grooved and dimpled/drilled you will create lots more brake dust and your pads do wear quicker
  9. They just get better and better Scott, the whole package is very professional and really shows the great fun that we all had. Looking forward to the next bits, oh and good choice of music, I know Paul is trying to take the credit but we all know it was you.
  10. John, if you don't want to do it your self, (it is reasonably easy) then any garage should be able to do it, don't go to Toyota, it will cost the earth and it will be an apprentice who does it.
  11. Well I'm way down the list now for thanking lots of people, but I'm still going to, and the ones involved have probably heard enough ( not really, you can never have too much thanks for a job well done). Firstly to thank JB, thanks John, we're going to have to re-name you to the "Dragon Master" or The "king of the ballers" or some such, without you keeping a tight reign on everything the trips would not be as well put together and enjoyable. Next come the "Princes of Balls", .......... (you know who you are), Ellis, Scott, Abz, you have (and still will do), put in a lot of time and effort and it is very much appreciated, I know it will take you a time to put together the vids Scott but I'm sure, like always, they will be worth the wait. To everyone else who helped to make the trip go well and great fun, that includes all of you for the Tunnel blast, what a good buzz that was, we will probably all get speeding fines through the post soon, but it would be worth it. Roll on the next trip. Sorry to hear you had problems at the end Ellis, but you really didn't have to say you were sorted out by an NA er.
  12. Who's got the English Dutch dictionary by the way?
  13. Thanks Scott, yeah I did miss it, its a good job some people are on the ball and not a dribbler like what I am.
  14. I've got a spare one I can bring along, Maguires NXT I think it is.
  15. Thought you were staying at the Travelodge Paul, see you in the morning. JB, are we getting our "unique" reference numbers from you tomorrow/Friday? I can't remember what we did last year.
  16. Very nice Rob, they look fantastic.
  17. Don't forget your electrical plug adaptors. Round two pin to ours, you'll need them for the hair dryers and straighteners.
  18. Nice car, good and shiney, I do like that front bumper.
  19. Can't get cheaper than Camskill, thanks Ellis, that's what I have now and had for my last set and probably will again.
  20. Yes, I would be up for it again, it was a really good day out, some great driving routes, a good pub for dinner and good company, we were also lucky with the weather. Great idea.
  21. Mmmmmmmmmm............. Zymol, car looks great, but I think I'm broken now, this cleaning lark is hard graft. See you at Mc'ds at 6 ish "yuk"!
  22. Love the way they all had the nervous giggles, that was silly really but good to watch.
  23. It's great isn't it, "IT" just never ends, what tyres are getting? I'll probably need two new rears shortly after we get back from Rotterdam.
  24. Sorry to hear your bad news CJ, shame, but I'm sure when we arrived in Holland we could have easily bought some "Afghan black" and you could have slept through everything.............. Man.
  25. I was an ordnance control weapons technician in the Royal Navy for 28 years and now 12 years a firefighter in Fareham Hampshire.
