  1. I want to buy a battery cover similar to this, although not sure if this one looks tacky. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Supra-Chrome-Battery-Cover-Toyota-Twin-Turbo-3-0_W0QQitemZ8050949010QQcategoryZ43119QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I've got a vented bonnet and the angle that I park the car, sometimes (especially in all this recent bloody rain) means that the water is coming in through a few of the lower vents and dripping onto the battery!!! [i know change the angle I park the car - but then I get seagull shite all over it]! Has any bought anything similar which they can recommend or any traders on here selling them?
  2. Looks like some more great driving weather for you guys with rltc. Its still bloody pouring down and I really need to do some jobs on her ! And she's filthy !
  3. Do you do pm's cus I just sent you one
  4. Email sent. Thanks Bijal
  5. Ian, You're the other man too. I am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks guys.
  6. Bijal - you're the man. Thought I'd saved the map earlier but cant understand where its gone. I'll try again if my laptop battery is charged up enough. thank you, thank you, thank you
  7. Ok, so I've done something today. I have been on the aem forum and read, read and re-read to try to identify why my car sometimes stalls when approaching junctions at lower revs (not all the time only sometime). I was advised to plug my aem into my lap top and try and save and send the current map to someone who would have a look at it. I now dont know what I've done but during a quick drive this afternoon the car stalled on me even worse than previously, I had more difficulty trying to re-start (3 or 4 turns) and then to top it all off, on two occassions the transmission didnt change up to third gear , so limped home. I know i need the car re-mapping, it hasnt been running as well as it could since buying it, but am trying to wait until May when Dimitri and Arnout are coming over. A few words of comfort at this time would be very nice, think I'm suffering with that SAD disease as its been wet and horrible here for days. I think the cars got it too - Supras 'ate damp!! Any ideas would be even better?
  8. Thought about a petrol grinder in the glovebox
  9. Just got back from a 20 minute spin in mine. The worst 20 min drive ever in any car! Car kept stalling, would re-start every time thankfully, although never on the first turn. The last two miles felt like the car wasnt changing beyond second gear (auto). First time i pulled over, switched the ignition off and back on again and it seemed ok. The second time I was pulling in to my courtyard so just parked and come into the house. Cold, wet and depressed. Will try this pull fuse out larky and see what happens!!
  10. I got a garage, but if I drove the supe in (which I doubt it would go in anyway) I'd then be stuck in it!! Child bearing hips!!!!

    Hey newbie

How old are you Mike? I'm 27 with a named driver on a single turbo 500bhp with loads of declared mods and agreed valuation of 17K. £1270 for the year and this is my first high performance car. Try SKY
  14. Sat in the study surfing the net listening to the rain lashing down again!! Look out of the window and there she is - just gagging for a ride. Must get RLTC.
  15. Cheers Jake will try that.
  16. I think I've got a cold start problem - ie engine stalls when revs drop when reducing speed say for example when approaching junction slowly. Doesnt do it all the time, only occassionally, but enough to get a bit p'd off! Its an aem and I'm waiting for Dimitri & Arnout to come over probably in May for a full wack mapping session, but have been told i can download a map from aem and make changes myself whilst I'm waiting???? Not sure about this hence the question being asked.
  17. I got them cus they were on the car when I bought it! They weren't cheap - I've seen the invoice - but still rattle like mad. Good stopping power though.
  18. Glad to hear its not mine then! Embarrassing isnt it trundling down a narrow village high street full of shoppers!!
