  2. Thats not on down here yet!! Just got back from watching Scary Movie 4. It was ok, but wouldnt rave on about it. My next problem though which has had all four of us stumped for the 15 mile return journey. What is the film called which they're taking the mic out of . . . the one where the girl works as a carer (in china/japan or somewhere asian), goes into care for an old woman in this house and theres the ghost of the little boy . . . . ?
  3. yep it is down here anyway. i fancy silent hill or 16 blocks. anyone?

Am I hungover, or did I just not understand a single word of what you just said - or both Would the type of tc depend on your car and your type of driving?

Ta Jamie - I knew I could rely on you for a sensible suggestion I've just found a company called 'Drift Academy'. They do club days

    Drifting

Not having had my supe long, I am quite keen to be able to keep her longer than losing her whilst driving a little harder. (bit of a mouthful, sorry - you may need to read it twice!!). Does anyone know of a race track that will teach you how to drift?
  9. No South Wales mate Although you were probably asking Kaori Fan

    P'd Off !!

Hey - good luck tomorrow James. I'm not nervous about it, just fed up that I havent had time to focus and prepare properly. Its only a 10 min presentation, I'm confident for the first 7-8 mins. A bit more research and another 2 hours should see it finished

    P'd Off !!

An interview tomorrow that I've got to do a power point presentation for - and I cant be arsed cus I'm so busy and tired I cant get my head round it. And The supe is still in the garage - nearly two weeks now for a torque converter to be fitted!!!! And to top that off - my daily runner car keys are in the glove box of the supe, in the garage, on a ramp, 120 plus miles away At least the sun shone today
  15. Paul - I'm impressed you're back at work already. Take care mate x
  16. Paul Have been so busy at work havent had time to catch up until now. Gutted, damp eyed and heavy hearted for you. Taking my next two hours worth of work home with me for later and clearing off home now to take Russ my springer spaniel for a walk to the beach and a swim in the sea. I remember the day I bought Russ from a breeder, he is nine in June and I cant believe it. Just makes you realise how precious every day is in their short life. He's going to get a few extra treats over the next day or so. He had to have two major operations a couple of years back - the bugger ate stones off the beach and nearly died - twice in two months. 2k of vets bills is payable, I know what you mean. I couldnt get over the void left in my life - the no getting up and straight up the garden, the no nudges of your leg when he wants to go out, the woofing at his dinner bowl, the space on the stairs when he's trying to race you up them . . . . . AND THAT WAS ONLY FOR FIVE DAYS! Thinking of you at this sad time. Jo
  17. Paul, just seen this. Feeling for you mate. Hope everything goes ok for you all. Keep us informed.
  18. Was hoping to come down and meet some of you guys after picking up my car . . . but it looks like after 10 days the car still has its autobox off!!! Can you please wave at my car when you go past Jnc 25a Have a good one
  19. It's only my offside after investigation thats rattling, so when I get the car back, going to strip them down and re-adjust which I've been told should do the trick
  20. Sorry to disappoint you Joe but I've already got 6 pot calipers on the rear, so I guess you're not the first I've also got the 378mm Good stopping power though, so very good choice. Oh, BTW, did I also mention that my cars is on the KAD website? http://www.kad-uk.com/brakekits2.htm
  21. Just venting my frustration now . . . . back home without the supra again today. Got to Cwmbran last night at 8 ish after battling through the bank holiday Bristol traffic. Was told there was still a small drip leak from the transmission. Decided to stay over again to see if Adam could sort it out this morning. Long story short . . left Cwmbran at lunch time today after being told no leaks, 15 minutes down the M4 big blue smoke puring from the back of the car. Pulled over on the hard shoulder to find drip, drip, drip, drip of transmission fluid again. So back to the garage, left the car there and come back to Devon again. I wont be seeing my parents this holiday, havent seen them since Christmas, and the car wont be mapped this week, so no further forward with it. The new torque converter and fluid makes it a smoother ride, but still bloody stalling, revs still all over the place, and now totally pissed off with it all. Happy Easter!!!!!
