  2. A girl we convoyed down with crashed into the back of an M3 near the entrance to TOTB, she was in a Impreza STi 6. Did anyone by chance happen to see it and get a photo?? She got a premature lift home in a low loader.

  4. Some results from the GTR Register forum: The Scooby's won the overall team award. Andy Forest in his Impreza lost to Joel English in his supercharged Viper (Andy slipped out of 1st gear). Joel also set the highest top speed with a 203.3mph terminal. Andy F beat the Norris Evo in the 4WD final. The Roger Clark Motorsport Impreza won the individual overall award. Placing 1st in the handling, 2nd in the quarter, and 5th in the top speed run. Keith Cowie broke the 0 - 300kpm world record in his new spec R32 GTR with a time of 12.6sec. He did 0-100 in 4 seconds and 0-200 in 14 seconds. The Jun Super Lemon R33 finally recorded a 9sec quarter and backed it up with a 202mph top speed run.
  5. I'm going too. There's a few of us meeting up at one of the peoples farm right on J31a of the M6. We're meeting at 6:45 So we'll be there for before 9 all being well.
  6. So what's this bad area of Preston?? I live there and always like to hear what people class as rough here.
  7. Just took it somewhere very local to me (at the end of my road), I used to take my Rover there,b ut they were always asking me about the CAT (they knew it had a de-cat). So I was a bit wary about taking it there (I don't really want them touching my car in other ways than MOT) But it came up trumps in the end. If you want the full addy I'll PM it you. They are very local to the M6 J31a Are you going Sunday Mike??
  8. Are you gong then Wez?? And others too??
  9. Yep been watching it, good game so far.
  10. My thinking was it was worth a try
  11. Yeah I don't think you can complain either about tyres, if they're low enough to fail. They're to low anyway. Also I don't think you can grumble with shocks, especially if they're old.
  12. I think it's to do with when it was made, and if it requires an emissions test, although I could be wrong.
  13. I have talked to two of my workmates about it in the past. Jon has a Dodge Charger with I think something like an 8.1 Hemi in IIRC, he said he was told to run his re-built engine in hard. My other mate Mark (Cord on the GTR forums) works at RB motorsport, and he said they run re-built engines in over gently for 1000 miles. He said they'd rather have engine longevity than a few extra horses.
  14. The Supra passed the MOT with flying colours this morning. Even with a double de-cat He tested it said it was right on the line, so I take it he means on the top limit. But it's not on the database so doesn't matter anyway. Girlfriend wasn't happy when my 13 year old car passed straight through and her 3 year old civic didn't last week(although hers only needed a set of sidelight bulbs and wiper blades.) Either way though it's still been the cheapest round of MOT's we have ever had. Last year it was £300 for my rover coupe turbo and £120 for the gf's polo. We both got new cars last year the Civic and the Supra and this time round it cost me £35 for mine and £48 for hers. Well chuffed
  15. Looks like a nice hotel. We might look at getting away again in October, was thinking of going to the Canaries again.
  16. I am thinking of going, but it depends on the price of the MOT for the car tomorrow.
  17. I got one of the GReddy ones from Nic. Great knob great price.
  18. I have got some of that stuff from valeters pride. Just waiting for a couple of summers days to get it done.
  19. That's a pity I just flogged my standard hard drive (had evox etc. on it), on EBay, you could have give that a quick try. Never mind.
  20. I'm interested in this, it'll be a bit more modern than the old HKS I have now. That's already wired up so most of the wires will already be run, spliced etc.
  21. Have you still got his Uz. Also where does the harness connect to??
