  1. Yep as I said before, see the second post in this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=110938&highlight=blitz+mirror+drive
  2. Hi Chris, the backlight isn't variable no, and it's on all the time. I might be wrong but I seem to remember the wires being the wrong way around to what you'd expect. I think the red was the switched live and the orange the permanent live (I thought they would be the other way around). I wired mine to the cigarette lighter so don't know about the dimmer problem.
  3. Damn a bit short notice for me now, I'd have come along to that. Been having a few ciders now so no driving for me

  5. Yeah that's fine but I'd always stick to measuring in metric for metric threads and imperial for those threads. That bit there is asking you to convert into imperial to measure a metric thread. I wouldn't do it that way as you can get mixed up etc. Like I said for a metric thread we just tend to count the tops of the threads and if 10 threads is 15mm long its 1.5mm pitch and if 10 threads is 12.5mm long its 1.25mm pitch. Chris's way is best with thread gauges, but if this is just a one off you may not want to buy some.
  6. Ideal if you want to get away from the missus, just go in the other room, sorry did I say room, I meant launch silo
  7. Ideal if you're Dr.Evil http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190132455924
  8. Best bet is to try and count threads over a fixed distance with pitch. For example if it is 1.25 pitch then 10 threads should be 12.5mm long. If it's 15mm for 10 threads then the pitch is 1.5mm. Quite handy way of measuring pitches.
  9. That couldn't be any further from the truth
  10. Check if it has S-video out, mine has and it does look just like a mouse port.
  11. Does the thread look like M10, it could just be that the pitch is wrong. Usually if the pitch is wrong then it'll just start to go then stop. Where is the manifold from if it's from somewhere like the states it might be an imperial thread.
  12. Close the door on the way out will you
  13. Likely story, did you not remove it to save face
  14. You got lost without the torque didn't you? That's why you want another Supra isn't it?? Nice car though, I know someone with a kitted one and it looks ace.
  15. Where is it coming from in the second pic it looks like it's coming from up high rather than under the seats etc. Could it not have been for a GPS mast or old, old, old style car phone antenna etc.
  16. I too thought I'd never buy a white car, but once I saw one in the flesh, I loved it. It's easier to keep clean than my last car which was black.
  17. Do you mean the reception is shite?? Or have you had problems with the aerial itself. Mine still has a bit of a crap reception but I need to connect the power up on the amp.
  18. I was a bit disturbed at the picture of Chris in his dressing gown, with shotgun cocked over arm, and torch in my head. Looks a stocky little bleeder does that pup.
  19. J-tuner has stopped being published. I prefer Japanese performance to Banzai personally. I know JP came out on the 11th this month. I don't know if it's the same every month though.
  20. We bore Inconel bushes at work Chris, and it's the toughest stuff to bore. Is this why they are good for use as sensors etc.??
  21. Looks like a cross between the new shape civic's and the batmobile.
