  1. Yeah mine has a mine's certificate suck to it.
  2. We are going away that weekend, it looks like being the 29th though. So I will come along too as long as we are not away that weekend.
  3. I am sure I read somewhere that gauges will always have an element of safety built into them. So they may overread slightly. As said before the safest option is to trust the defi.
  4. Oh well, it would have been good if they could be changed. Thanks Chris! Do you still get those VEMS AFR/EGT gauges. I might be interested in one a bit closer to Xmas.
  5. I have a blitz mirror drive boost gauge, and I wouldn't mind an EGT and AFR one. So I think I might just spend the money and get the one that I think Chris Wilson recommends the VEMS one. I think it's about £200. But it could be worth looking on the Ebay.com site (US site). I am sure autometer gauges are very good and the EGT ones from there are around the £70 mark, which seems pretty cheap for a good gauge. There boost ones are probably even cheaper.
  6. Have you got the drawing for these Col?? I have been thinking of one for a while now.
  7. Some legendary quotes here from the great man. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N157138070929-0807.htm
  8. Ah I forgot about that place, I'll send them an e-mail.
  9. Yeah last time I washed the car I noticed it. They have been on the car for about 11 months now. I have a feeling the heads are stuck on, as when I looked at the allen key bit they looked rounded as if they weren't supposed to be removed. It could just be where the coating is peeling though giving that effect.
  10. Mine sits at half roughly
  11. People probably sell them when they realise how much fuel they are putting in. A bloke at work has one, he bought it brand new a few years back (i'll have to mention to him that it's not worth much more than the Supra now ). He said he knew about the fuel consumption, but once he realised he had to put £50 of juice in a week, it hit home what they meant.
  12. I have got the Ultralite 755/NUR's on my car and have noticed that the caphead screws around the rim are starting to corrode. I knew it would happen eventually but they've not been on the car a year yet. So my question is are they screwed in so they can be replaced or are they just the heads stuck/glued on (which I believe is quite common). If they are screwed in I was thinking of getting some of those aerotek ones or some titanium/stainless ones. Thanks!
  13. Post edited to correct the name
  14. Your other two brake lights weren't wired as fog lights before where they. I only have 3 brake lights the other is wried as the fog light.
  15. Yes mate but he's not been around that forum for 5 minutes like Turbofit, he's been on the Rover forum before I was and that's about 5-6 years now. But like every company there will always be people who have good and bad experiences. I ordered some discs and pads from him when I had my rover coupe turbo and they were here within a few days.
  16. I have heard of them from the Rover forum I am a member on. They have a good reputation on there. I think it's Steve his name and he posts on there regularly as his car is a rover IIRC.
  17. This could be classed as slightly not work safe I suppose. This guy is a good drawer. http://www.biertijd.com/mediaplayer/?itemid=3954
  18. Yep here's the thread I installed mine from http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=110938&highlight=blitz+mirror+drive
  19. For MD gauges they are the worng way around to what I thought they would be. Red = Switched 12v Orange = Permanent 12v Black = Earth Hope that helps, I wired mine to the fag lighter. And then connected the lighter up with reverse polarity The lighter worked but I kept blowing fuses in my sat nav charger.
  20. Are you sure there's no oil on there sometimes I struggle to see the level with clean oil on these sticks. It does look dry from the photo's though
  21. I bet all that set you back a penny or too. Sounds good though. The car certainly spools a bit better with the CATS out.
