my son has just failed his driving test. he drove perfectly throughout the test the instructer said there was no probs but he gave him a "major" which is a fail for not putting on the rear demister!.my sons instructor objected but the examiner ignored his protest.what a miserable sod

if you havnt started buying much i think you would be better off trading up for a tt even if you have to borrow money it will be cheaper.when i start a project it always ends up much more however detailed your plans. just my opinion if your confident and can do the work go for it

sure i shouldnt be disapointed with the rear wheel output.the car is now much faster than before going in. i thought it was fast before.dave pointed out how good the engine must be there was not a puff of smoke or crap at any point.sounded well healthy too. i also finally got the racelogic sorted seems that the wires behind the adjuster knob were broken.now sorted and working perfectly. i recommend anyone in this area to these guys they did a great job very reasonable too.

30% odd seems very high even for auto?

only 302 which is a hugh transmission loss would this have anything to do with 3 of us sitting in boot to stop wheel spin as it hit about 370?

just back from henstead motor sport. they have done a great job on the bpu mods fmic install with modded airbox is very neat. got there in time for the dyno runs here goes! 451.7 bhp and 412 lbs at the fly wheel

car is being rolling roaded tommorow to see what effect the bpu mods have had any one care to guess? spec is (uk 49k miles) full decat hks superdragger. hybrid fmic. thor fcd.profec b ebc set 1.2 bar max.nck iridium plugs.blitz boost gauge.standard airbox modded (cut away a small volume)to fit fmic. closest guess wins bugger all . but interested to see how modded airbox will cope will post results tommorow am hoping for 360 at wheels. what is transmission loss for auto ?. have read 12%-25%

bpu coming soon .its being done as we speak should be done monday including fmic. getting rolling roaded too am hoping for some good power 1.2 bar on uk spec

having my hybrid fmic fitted today along with boost controller and fcd. the garage rung me up saying impossible to fit with airbox even as i said butcher airbox if need be .anyway i went to see and cooler looks great very purposefull. i insisted they mod the air box instead of going to induction kit.anyway my question is will airflow suffer with a smaller area airbox even if the pipe diameter is still same and both air feeds are clear. if i remember right the zzr1100 kawasaki bikes has a large presserized airbox for highspeed airlow is this the same principle.dont want to lose the box but dont wish to compromize airflow.i beleive another members airbox is ok done the same

sorry i cant answer your questions but i can give a bit of advice. when i serviced my supra pipes were found to be missing or blanked off similar to your car. refit everything to standard including airbox if poss and you will notice a huge improvement like i did. why do people do these things unless they are a proven mod?

i used to have a bmw 323 manual. the accelarator pedal broke and instead of fixing it properly i got a bodg job done with a hinge sort of thing. one day when flooring the pedal it jammed down and left me accelarating like mad.i managed to put my toes under it and free it up again. things happen very quickly and it does scare you not being in control.i think this other guy must have been a right nob to not work out a way to stop if he had the time to piss about with his phone he must have seen too many of those runaway car/coach movies.

i personally think all religion is c@@p. it has been and still is the cause of nearly all fighting and trouble throughout the world. i think for english people its just a hobby and for some faiths its a beleif forced on by years of brainwashing. if everybody just had respect for themselves,respect for others and took responsibility for there own actions then the world would live in harmony..RELIGION SUCKS!!!

good point its a blitz which i believe are quite good showing .9 on a full decat uk so i think its pretty accurate as its already very fast

hi, am uk bpuing this week have done the full decat and boost gauge now 0.9 bar. so two things. were is best place for ebc to be fitted? and what is considered to be very safe for uk tubbies for long term reliability ?was thinking of 1.15 but would 1.25 give much more bhp for the risk .am fitting hybrid fmic and fcd of course.turbos have only 50k at present
