Hi all, just looking for opinions on the options available when using a Syvecs ecu. Looking at getting one soon but can't decide which is better. What I understand is Toucan is designed for the Syvecs and permanently wired in. Tablet will need a Bluetooth adapter for the syvecs and the app installed. Discuss

Arp can be reused I'm sure. From Arp site. Are ARP bolts and studs re-usable? Yes. As long as the fasteners have been installed and torqued correctly, and show no visible signs of damage, they can be re-used. If they show any signs of thread galling or corrosion, they should be replaced. In the case of rod bolts, if any of them have taken a permanent set and have stretched by .001” or longer, you should replace them immediately. See page 29 in the catalog for more detailed information on this critical measurement.

Three-port Boost Control Solenoid Bought from JT Innovations but not used. "This is an excellent upgrade from the 2-port device fitted to many turbo-charged vehicles. Made by Pierburg it is very high quality – as used by Porsche – and has mounting lugs moulded in." Comes complete with a mating connector and a short cable. £30 posted.

You can get replacements, sounds like you stripped the nuts in the roof. You will need to remove the headlining from the roof section to get to them.

What would anyone recommend as the best spark plugs for rebuilt engine and first startup. Copper? Im using my original Iridium's at the moment to plug the holes, Denso IK22.

Oh dear, thats not good! It might be worth you trying a screw extractor if you can drill a small hole into the broken bolts. Would be an idea to spray wd40 on them and the pulley bolt a few times and let it work in. You also have the problem of torquing it back up to 324 Nm, which is rather tight, without a way to hold it. -

Anyone have a few spare valve shims laying around? Looking for a couple between 2.8 and 3mm, preferably 3mm as I could grind them down.
