Nice write up. We always make comparisons of our cars vs much more expensive and exotic machinery, but it's good to hear the whole story.

I thought it looked familiar when I drove past it, didn't realise which supra it actually was until I searched just now. Around 10:30 on Tuesday parked on Woodlands Road (I think) in Middlesbrough. Sorry if I missed the story, but did anyone on here buy it? Chris

Saw an L reg silver supra on the A19 southbound at around 4:30 on Saturday, looked like he was racing a motorbike I tried to keep up, but was in an Astra 1.6! By the time I'd followed onto the A174 it was long gone Was that either of you guys?

We could almost organise a stockton meet with the amount of guys from around here! I've only ever been to one Jap North East meet (its for all jap cars, not just supras), but one of my mates has just got a 200sx and seems keen to go, so it might be worth heading up to the next one. I'll PM you if we go, like I said, it would be great to see your car in the flesh

Do you ever go to any of the Jap North East meets? I remember seeing your car at one of the euro drift events a while back. If you do go to a meet I'll have to get myself along to see this in person, looks really impressive

You ever been a passenger in your own supra? I let my mate drive it the other night and was complaining about the lack of leg room in the passenger seat. He just kept giggling when the second turbo kicked in

I can't remember what level it got up to, but before I died, the super pills actually did nothing at all and the bonus items in the middle were keys worth 5,000 points each It was pretty intense! While we're here asking, how is the Bat and Mouse score possible? I could imagine 1 million being possible if you did really well, but above that something special must happen...

I don't think anyone's cheated. The current best score of all time was reset, not hacked. There's only a couple of games in the arcade that I don't know how the person got such a high score, but that doesn't mean they cheated. All the scores can be beaten if you're bored enough (apart from the golf ones )

I went for terribleturner's too, just love the look of the supra rear lights when turned on btw my username has an "L" in it... not that, that makes any more sense

lol I didn't cheat! I got disqualified for not playing apparently. As did SupraTT2004, I guess it just got the names the wrong way around

Yeah Piper Alpha was the big one, My Dad used to work on that too (not at the time it exploded). Not at all wrong of you to be glad your son was home at the time, as I opened this thread I was glad my dad is too! Let's hope the guys injured are going to be alright.

For some reason I read the word "Pylon" as "Python"... made the story far more amusing thinking a guy was trying to blow up a python!

Cheers Andy the MDI air engine was a great suggestion! I've briefly looked into it and there seems to be loads of information on how it works and the development of it, so should be perfect for me to write about. I always work best at night, for some reason I can't really concentrate on what I'm doing unless its dark! Anyone know of anything else in development?

Hi Guys, Does anyone have any suggestions of new technology in engines that I could research for a paper I'm writing for uni? The module title is "Emerging Technologies" and I've chosen to write about new technologies in car engines. I need 3 different specific technologies to write about - I've already decided I need to include something on Hybrid engines or alternate fuel powered engines, but I don't know what else is out there? Does anyone know of a new forced induction system, or variable valve timing or something like that? It can be anything as long as its new and related to car engines! Any help much appreciated! It says this if you have 2 windows open for the arcade. On the previous versions of the arcade that was one way in which you could cheat (by playing one game, then submitting the score from another), the new arcade stops you from doing this... might be the reason Edit: sounds like my Mep Ball score is in jeopardy!

Yeah I haven't got much work done since arcade was reinstalled... I was enjoying our battle on the soap bubble game!

I knew it!!! I spent ages trying to work out how you got 11 on the adventure golf, but didn't want to accuse you of cheating!
