  1. LMAO!! I miss that torch. I dropped it one day when changing the front speakers, I think I was shining it at the wires between the door and the car body, and it fell into a gap at the front of the side skirt! Because the side skirts are riveted on, I couldn't work out a way to rescue it! I completely forgot about it until now!
  2. Yes, as long as the speed camera has photoshop installed
  3. Cheers guys! I really wish I could bring it to Manchester with me, but I just can't justify leaving it outside exposed to the elements. Might buy something cheap that I won't mind getting a bit beat up, but this bike is way too nice to let that happen.
  4. 2001 Honda CBR600F Sport 11,726 miles. 12 months MOT. Immaculate condition, both in terms of bodywork and mechanically. Very well looked after, this is my first bike, so I’ve always been very careful. Never dropped or even ridden very hard. It has a number of upgrades carried out by the previous owner, mainly cosmetic, however it also has a K&N air filter, Akrapovic full system exhaust and Power Commander 3 fitted to give it a bit more power. I also have the original exhaust and a few other spares currently not fitted including an Efmax rear seat cowl and a tank cover with clip on bag. Pictures: I’m not sure if this is all that has been done to the bike, but here’s a rundown of everything I’m aware of: - Akrapovic full system exhaust - Power Commander III - K&N Filter - Efmax undertray - R&G Crash Protectors - Arrow LED Indicators - Carbon Fibre rear hugger - Gold wheels - Datatool Alarm - Metal chain guard - Efmax rear seat cowl (not pictured) - Leather tank cover with clip on bag (not pictured) The bike is currently SORN’d as I have moved to Manchester and have no garage to store it in! So it’s living at my parents house in Teesside, hence the reason for sale. Tel. 07545 444 150 £3250 ono Cheers, Chris
  5. As everyone else has said, real shame to see you're selling. I remember it coming up for sale just a month or so after I bought mine for £200 less, a year newer and less miles! Now its up for sale again just after I've sold mine, but unfortunately I can't afford it this time. Good luck with the sale, its pretty close to the perfect supra
  6. Most of the arch lip was cut away when I first got the wheels with 265's fitted, I figured 5mm extra each side would still be ok and it was!
  7. You could mount it in the glove box without having to drill any holes. Theres a plastic panel in the top of the glove box that can be removed, or there's the glove box light which is also in the top that could be removed allowing space for wires.
  8. Feel free to make me an offer and I'll consider it if I don't get any other interest. I think £800 is a fair price tbh, the rear tyres were £250 just a few weeks ago and the fronts are in excellent condition too
  9. Depends on the tyres though, Bridgestone are good tyres, I paid £1400 when new, I'm sure you can get them cheaper than that with budget tyres
  10. Thanks Yeah was very sad to see it go! I wish I'd taken more photos! Loved owning that car... one day hopefully I'll be able to afford one again, maybe with one less turbo
  11. SOLD Well I've now sold my supra but it was sold with the standard wheels, so the 18" wheels are now up for sale. Here they are fitted to the car: http://www.section-5.net/random/Supra/IMG_3045.jpg http://www.section-5.net/random/Supra/IMG_2085_mod.jpg More pictures in my garage (link in my sig) Fronts are 18" x 8.5" ET35 - Fitted with 235/40/18 Bridgestone S-02's with loads of tread left Rears are 18" x 9.5" ET30 - Fitted with 275/35/18 Bridgestone RE050A's that are brand new (have done about 100 miles) They're in good condition, but one of the rear wheels has a bit of kerbing and one of the front wheels has a couple of stone chips and scratches around the rim. Here are some pics: Rear wheel with kerbing: http://www.section-5.net/random/Supra/IMG_3046.JPG http://www.section-5.net/random/Supra/IMG_3047.JPG Front wheel with stone chips: http://www.section-5.net/random/Supra/IMG_3048.JPG http://www.section-5.net/random/Supra/IMG_3049.JPG Other front wheel in good condition: http://www.section-5.net/random/Supra/IMG_3050.JPG Other rear wheel in good condition: http://www.section-5.net/random/Supra/IMG_3051.JPG Finally, on the front wheels the recess for where the wheel nuts fit is very small, so when tightening up the nuts the socket has scratched the paint, this is only on the front wheels and not noticeable until up close: http://www.section-5.net/random/Supra/IMG_3052.JPG I should mention that I needed to have the rear arch lip trimmed/rolled in order to stop the rear wheels from rubbing (cost £100), but the fronts were fine. Wanting £750 for these, would much prefer collection, but will see if I can find a price for delivery. Wheels come with spigot rings to fit the supra and wheels nuts. Cheers, Chris SOLD
  12. Doug Lampkin's excellent, although I always preferred to watch takahisa fujinami. I can't believe he made up that spiral staircase without putting a foot down!
  13. No worries I was just interested Good luck with the sale!
  14. Nice, sounds excellent, you got any pics of it with the original bumper on?
  15. Deposit now taken, will update when the sale is finalised Edit: Supra is now sold, thanks for all the comments people, very sorry to see it go!
  16. Was the black one ChrisB? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=137
  17. I'd like some braided hoses and a master cylinder brace to try give my UK's a little more bite. Standard disks with either Chris Wilson or Endless pads seems like a good setup though.
  18. Ok, well rough figures of what I pay every year: £50 - MOT £200 - Tax £600 - Insurance £250 - Tyres £400 - General Maintenance (Oil, Filters, Brakes etc.) £2160 - Fuel (8000 miles, 20mpg @ £1.20 a litre) Very rough figures as obviously you might need to spend more on maintenance one year and your insurance will be different etc. But yeah I'd say without other modifications I spend around £3660 a year running my supra...
  19. I wouldn't say an MR2 was a good first sports car, maybe something powerful but still FWD would be best - a Leon Cupra R or something like that... anyway the Supra isn't a difficult car to get along with, it handles well, drives smooth and accelerates quickly, you just need to treat it with a bit of respect in the wet and all will be fine Fuel, tyres, general maintenance are all expensive on the Supra, but no more so than any other car of this calibre, they're very reliable if well maintained. I've had 4 people in mine before... not comfortably, but we were all in at least.
  20. An update: The tyre tread on the standard 17" is pretty much at a minimum now, so I've bought 2 new 275/35 Bridgestone tyres for the 18" wheels and put those back on. I've also just fitted a Greddy Profec B Spec 2 Boost Controller, so now 1.2 bar is available at the press of a button I also gave it a good wash and wax yesterday and now I really want to keep it! I'll leave it up for sale, but really in no rush to sell. http://www.section-5.net/random/Supra/IMG_3045.jpg £10,500 with the 18" Rota's
