  1. low quality fuels can cause pinking, which can damage your engine. But I would assume the supra has knock sensors to prevent this...?
  2. I think thats where mine came from originally - I had a FuturAutos sticker on my back window anyway... Can't tell you much about the company, but my cars great if thats anything to go by lol
  3. I saw those on Paul Whiffin's car, and do really like them! I seem to remember reading they were very expensive though, so I disregarded them as an option. How much did yours cost if you don't mind me asking?
  4. Found another possibility... Rial Daytona Race http://www.forstinger.net/downs/felgen_2004/Rial/20_04_RIAL_DaytonaRace_.jpg These seem to sell for around £1300, maybe cheaper if I can find some on German ebay Available in 18x8.5 and 18x9.5, but I'm not sure what offsets - anyone know?
  5. That was just weird. I never want to go back to the gym after seeing that! I don't understand how you could ever want to look like that. The guy looked like he had huge tumors in both arms - there was no definition at all. I loved the quote from that "steroid guru" guy though: "get rid of steriods... yeah then we can all wear little hats and walk around holding hands" lol
  6. afreemason, what offset are your Keskins? I like the look of those Volks too
  7. I was thinking the Ultralite 755's would be a good choice. Its just a shame that the widest available width is 8.5" Front ET30 and 9.5" Rear ET20. So I'd still probably want to use spacers None the less, they're a very nice looking wheel
  8. I'm on a bit of a wheel hunt at the moment, attempting to find a set of 18" wheels to replace my current standard 17's. I've PM'd quite a few of the traders asking for prices on various wheels (thank you to all that replied, much appreciated!), I thought I'd finally found the wheels that I was going to get (Keskin KT4's), however after bonus_2000 advertised his due to them not fitting over UK spec brakes, I'm back to the drawing board! The style I'm looking for is the "mesh" style, I believe that's what it's referred to as anyway, and I have actually found quite a fair amount of possibilities. Unfortunately the big stumbling block for me is the price. My current favourite is the Work VS-XX - here's a picture for reference: http://www.bgmotorsport.de/images/medium/vsxx_ls.jpg However these are near £2k for a set... in reality my maximum is half that. Another consideration which narrows my choices a little, is the width and offset I'm looking for. I realise that the recommendations for these is to stick as close to the standard wheels as possible, but I'm wanting to go for the low offset look. This isn't to everyone's taste (it seems to be much more popular in the US and Germany), and of course the adverse affect it will have on the handling, but none the less I'm determined to go for it! Another reference picture to illustrate low offset wheels on the supra: http://www.briancphotography.com/hin/cars/images/HINCARS041.jpg I'm sure many of you will have seen this car before. The specs of his wheels are 19x9.5" Front, 19x10.5 Rear, Offset +22 all round. This is quite extreme, but isn't far off what I'll be looking for. Ideally I'd like to do this without the use of spacers. So anyway... I'm looking for suggestions! What are your favourite mesh style wheels? The more pictures the better! I've managed to find some more wheels called "Algernon Division Intelesse 2", but can't seem to find out anything about them... anyone know what kind of price these are? Cheers, Chris
  9. Nah, I haven't given away the plot. Its not the same as Fight Club, I just thought it was vaguely reminiscent of it.
  10. Damn, I was planning on getting a set of these... but I have UK spec brakes
  11. I think the concept of revolver was similar to that of Fight Club - Thats the impression I got anyway... the whole split personality thing. I saw it a while ago so thats about as best as I can explain it Donnie Darko was awesome film too
  12. Just to let everyone know, steve spedd has first dibs on this, I'm just trying to sort out delivery etc at the moment. Thanks for the interest
  13. http://img333.imageshack.us/img333/3573/gaz48bj.jpg Edit: Not mine btw
  14. Sorry for the delay in getting pictures... click images for bigger versions: http://www.section-5.net/gallery/albums/userpics/10002/normal_IMG_2053.JPG http://www.section-5.net/gallery/albums/userpics/10002/normal_IMG_2054.JPG http://www.section-5.net/gallery/albums/userpics/10002/normal_IMG_2055.JPG
  15. Can I have it? Seriously thats how much my local Toyota dealer quoted me! Someone else on the forum said they'd been quoted around £270 for one...
  16. £337 from Toyota, and most people ask £75 for them 2nd hand If anyone has one cheaper - sell me it! I probably will end up spraying it if I can't swap or sell this one, but would prefer the black plastic look tbh. Will post pics up tomorrow!
  17. I've just bought a standard front bumper lip (the rubber strip around the bottom of the front bumper), however I didn't realise it had been painted silver - I have a black car therefore it might look a bit odd... So... does anyone have a standard front lip - unpainted, i.e. black, that they would like to swap for a silver one? Its in good condition, no cracks or major scratches etc. Or I'll sell it for £50 + P&P and try find another one! Cheers, Chris
  18. sorry to hear that mate Gotta admit, I totally understand why you miss it Are you back down in Wales now, or still in Yarm? Everytime I'm passing though Yarm I wonder if you'll spot me...
  19. No its not too low, I just don't really like the look of it to be honest, I think the standard one looks better, especially with an Active Spoiler too. I think the one currently fitted is a Bomex one, but not 100% certain.
  20. lol yeah I got a bag of screws and screw covers, as well as those sticky pads some places actually charge extra for that stuff though!
  21. Does the front bumper come with the black lower lip part? Any chance I could just buy that off you, and not the rest of the bumper? OEM sideskirts look like this: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=big&p=2978
  22. I got mine from http://www.fancyplates.com/ - Typed in custom sizes (smaller front plate, standard Jap rear), quick delivery and the fitting stuff came free
  23. Schtuv, thanks for the advice, I've been looking on ebay for "supra spoiler" but never tried seeing if there were full cars being broken. grahamc, you're right it is just the standard bumper, however as Supra-Man said, I think the spoiler/lip thats fitted is a bomex one... but also looks the same as an Amuse one. samsupra37, Cheers, have just PM'd him
  24. Yes Please £337 according to my local Then over £600 if I wanted some kind of fitting bar with it - wasn't sure what this was though...
