  2. Anyone from down Kent way on this?? I could do with someone to follow as I haven't got a clue which way to go
  3. Stick with it mate - things WILL get better LOL:) Ignore all the sarky buggers:d
  4. Where abouts in Kent are you based? Can I pop round and nick some bits off ya?? :)
  5. It allows you to move the lever out of park when you have the ignition off. Hold it in as you pull the shifter back. Be worth your while to browse the FAQ section mate :d And WTTC dude
  6. If you can hang on a while I have a guy making up a decat set for not too many pennies.
  7. Some cool drivin there!!!
  8. Cool. I'll go for the turn-up-late option cheers mate :)
  9. We gonna meet up somewhere first and all arrive en mass? (I hope so as I don't know the way!! :))
  10. Not bad going at all then mate Ditchling Beacon is fun - you need to be at the front and early to get up ther at a decent rate though. If you get forced to stop part-way up it's a bugger to get going again!
  11. Forgot to ask mate, what bike you ride??
  12. Yep, the trick is to get an early start (6.30 latest) and then just head down,on the nose blast for the first 15miles or so to clear the worst of the traffic. As for traffic lighs, I usually tend to ignore them! Tuck in behind someone when you need a 5min breather helps:) My favorite bit is coming into Brigton, Iusually manage to hook up with a bunch of guys from London, we blast into Brighton in a tight bunch setting off all the speed cameras LOL :d
  13. Slightly over that, but not in my current (unfit) condition LOL. Used to race - 120mile races usually end up with an average speed of around 27mph:Pling: But for something like the L2B, anyting under 5hrs is a good time for a non-cyclist - the biggest problem is usually slow-pokes on 'mountain' bikes with knobbly tyres etc. getting in the way LOL :)
  14. Not bad dude :) Done that one several times myself - didn't do this years as I've been off the boke for too long I usually manage 2hrs and a bit - my target is under 2hrs but there's usually too much traffic unless you get to the front of the really, really early starts
  15. Ooops! My bad - ignore this not-reading-properly idiot :)
  16. I have the toyota logo front and rear - been on all winter and no sign of any problems. Likewise the Supra word - polished stainless steel. Both still look like they did when I bought then :)
  17. Err,, why not:rolleyes: I've towed stuff loads of times in an auto - is this just Supras that can't tow???
  18. Looks like a typical compensation for poor marksmanship to me Can't hit them first time so use more ammo - a very american approach. And how the fuck is someone supposed to move or hide wearing all that crap?
  19. Perfectly normal mate.
  20. French Connection? Blues Brothers? :d
  21. Aw shit!!!! Just realised - we got ante-natal classes until 12:30 :( I/we could still make it but not until about 1-1:30 - is that gonna be any use for you still Pete??
  22. Does anyone have any idea how much revenue the government gains from tobacco tax? :) (no to metion tax from booze or fuel?)
  23. I believe Thames Water have a Drought Order in place (no washing cars, watering gardens etc.), Southern Water have a hosepipe ban - no washing cars with a hosepipe (you can apparently get away with it if the pipe has a tap on the end of it??), no watering the garden, you can use bath water, water butts etc. and you can still use a pressure washer to clean your drive or a hose pipe to fill your pond, water butts etc ???
  24. .............especially as the water companies are announcing record profits:Pling: :Pling: I've taken to washing my car after dark:) and then polishing it in the morning:cool: I use a hosepipe to fill up my buckets and sometimes accidentaly spray the car too
