  2. Hastings? Oh dear!! No intrusion mate - feel free to come up and meet some peeps - the southern lot are generally not too bad - dunno about the northern lot though LOL
  3. Why would anyone mind dude?? You got leprosy or something LOL:d
  4. +1 :) (in silver please)
  5. Not too sure what you mean there dude The stock dials are stuck directly onto the clear perspex so there is no 'backing' as such to peel off???
  6. Good meet - loads of Supes :) Shame about the boys hanging out of the side of their french garlicmobile downstairs - I had to have a little chuckle at them as I left Nice to meet you all and put some more faces to names LOL :) BTW, as discussed with a few of you, who's up for this?? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=68610 :)
  7. Anyone up for a meet at Ashford to welcome the northern mokeys (and their wippets?) on Friday nite before they bugger off to France on the Dragonball Run? Venue is the Travel Lodge, Eureka Business Park ( http://www.aboutbritain.com/maps/hotel1853-map.asp ) :p

    Ford Capri

I had a Slate grey 2.8i - loved it to death I ended up throwing a 4.2l Rover V8 lump in it - sooooo much fun LOL :)
  9. He's right dude - they fit behind the needles!! You can recalibrate your speedo using a GPS system (Roadangel etc.) and keep driving/moving the needle till it reads right. Set the rpm needle to the correct idle speed, allow the car to warm up thoroughly and stick the thermostat needle about half-way up. Fuel gauge needle - fill her up and stick it just past the full mark. You may need to fiddle around a little to get them exactly right but that should do it :)
  10. Don't worry mate - we'll break you in gently. (just bring plenty of vaseline) :d
  11. Just the Supe for me too - unless it's really sunny in which case the bike (pedal) comes out. If we go out anywhere though it's always the Supe
  12. Hi dude - I'm on The Meads!! Bobbing @ 7:45 is cool with me BTW, was it you I saw this afternoon heading towards Bobbing?? I flashed
  13. Best I hit the gym first then and get pumped LOL
  14. Aren't they all?? LOL (ignore me dude - I'm just taking the wee-wee) :d
  15. Dibs on the wing mirrors - if they're the folding variety :) (only actually need the passanger side one) :)
  16. Usually at the flywheel - bigger number sounds more impressive
  17. +1 (Sitll looking for a set of cats to borrow )
  18. I'll be coming up from Shittingbourne mate - where abouts are you??
  19. I don't advocate it's use either and I do find it difficult to read, however, there are many people out there who can oly really communicate in the written format using this mode - they arenot all thick or illiterate - they have simply been educated (by society) differently. Text-speak was designed to suite text messages - where the main thing with kids seems to be to reply immediately and quickly. It can be sen as an electronic form of shorthand. It has it's place certainly, is a forum the correct place for it? I dunno :)
  20. Hear hear!! :d And, let's face it guys and gals, text speak - like it or not - is fast becoming a part of the english language! Languages are dynamic - they are changed and adapted by society to meet the needs of that society (look at how Americans have simplified the spelling of many English words!!). It may not be 'correct' when viewed by someone with a more 'classic' education but it is non the less going to become an integral part of our language.
  21. Me too :) BTW Adam, been to see the man about the zorst - need to borrow a set of cats or else get a car down there c=for a couple of days so he can do some trial fitments:d
