Parts are generally much cheaper dude - TCB are very good and there are plenty of non Mr T suppliers about now Rads can be iffy but things like cats can be easily deleted. Diff mount is a pain but not a major problem.

Tighten up the actuator slightly, lose the releif valve and get a decent EBC CV joints is possible - no worry about figure 8s though :) Hob, what are the pink cards for then?? :) (how come they're pink?)

I cleaned mine off with a wire and then a bras brush and thinners, slipped some paper in between the calipers and the pads to keep paint off the pads and then chucked some of Halfords caliper paint on with a brush. I did all 4 at the same time and simply worked my way around the car for two laps (two coats). Once done, chuck on some vinyl graphics and the job's a good un :) -

Which part measures 3.25" mate?? Basically speaking, if they don't measure the same (all ways) as the original discs then there's no chance they are gonna go on. You need to check the diameter, thickness and top hat depth (the sticky-up bit where the bolt holes are.

If it already has a steel head gasket then you have the biggest worry out of the way already:) Definately a good following for the marque - more exclusive than the Hyundai look-a-like 205 :)

I'd be interested in this too :) I currently have a toad alarm (not a clue what the model is) but would really find a remote start facility (either linked to the alarm or seperate) very useful.

185s are good fun, look very nice (with a few tweaks) but I would never describe them as being cheap to run!!! As with any turbo car, it's very difficult (well, it was for me!) to resist the temptation to mod the engine, better turbo, FMIC, more boost etc. etc. etc. If you do get one, then as stated, look for a RC/CS model as they have slightly better performance. Have a look on the website ( http://www.gt4oc.net ) to see if anyone's selling, what problems to look out for (especially the dreaded head-gasket!!) and what sort of prices to pay.

I entirely get what you're saying Penguine, but you also need to remember that in some situations it is very difficult to distinguish beteen 'innocent civilians' and 'non-uniformed combatants' - particularly when you are working against an enemy that hides within the local populace and uses them as cover (willing or otherwise). Not saying that I condone Israels reactions - just that I admire their balls for saying 'bugger public opinion etc.' and doing what they feel needs to be done.

Look behind the politics and see it from a grunts point of view - you're in the shit and instead of abandoning you (as most govts would) your comrades pull out all the stops to get you back! The Israelies DO know how to look after their troops. By comparison, look what we did for our pilots who got downes in Iraq - sweet F A !!
