  1. Oh!! In that case I'd definately go satin :) I painted the top of my dash with Hammerite VHT matt black paint to cut down the reflections on the windscreen - works an absolute treat :)
  2. Matt for the top of the dash (to reduce reflections), satin for the rest (looks better and doesn't mark as easily as matt)
  3. Sittingbourne, near Canterbury in Kent. I could arrange to meet you part way if needed.
  4. 10min down the road from me so I'd better make it :)

    Thank you Mr Tamiya :)
  8. I hope to be able to attend - ballast and little one allowing (might leave ballast behind and take the little one for a day out LOL)
  9. As titled, I have a set of 16" 8J rims fitted with Bridgestone Potenza tyres - two good, two ok. The wheels are in reasonable condition except one which has a fair bit of curbing. Collection only
  10. Anyone wanna make me an offer for these?? Perfect working order - all bulbs and wiring in place :)
  11. I was about 10 at the time - Mum told me!! Made me chuck them away (am I bovvered?). Never was my favorite Aunt - so tight she'd turn her windscreen wipers off every time she went under a bridge!!
  12. So far I've not been able to fault them!! And yes, they do seem to have stopped trading on fleabay but their own website is still up and running http://www.visionbulbs.com/
  13. Worst Xmas prezzie ever was from an Aunty od mine - second hand socks and pants!!!!!!
  14. Vision Expres (on ebay) for just over a ton - very good stuff :)
  15. Definately NOT me then!!! LOL :)
  16. What's yer addy mate? I'm still after some :)
  17. Straight from the tin - very thin paint so the standard wrinkled finish shows through and the whole thing looks stock :)
  18. Whew!! Wasn't me then :) I'm a regular along there at the moment - towards the hosptial at arounf 10am, back towards Sittingbourne at around 1.30pm, return mid afternoon and home jusat after 9pm:) I'll keep my eyes open for ya though dude:d
  19. What time was this dude?? Sounds horribly like it could have been me - but I'm sure I would have waved/hooted/something :) What did the driver look like - good looking dark dude with a shaved head?? No? Not me then
  20. I used Hammerite matt black paint on the upper surfaces of my dash - completely killed reflection/glare :)
  21. The black bits look good mate - so good even the white bits are black :) Not too sure about the wooden dash though :(
  22. Anyone done this and able to give me some advice please?? I bought a set of chromed hinges from colsoop (cheers dude - top quality as usual ) and want to fit them asap but I'm a little confused as to the easiest way to get them off? Is it possible to do it single handed (one side at a time)? And how in hell do you get the front bolt out (the one that fixes the hinge to the wing top) - I can get a ring spanner on it but there isn't enough room to undo and rmove it???? Any help/advice much appreciated :)
  23. Cheers all :) Me and the ballast are touched by your comments. Unfortunately little ballast arrived 6 weks early and is somewhat under weight at present :( . She has started to put a little weight on but she's too weak to feed properly so we are having to do half via the breast/bottle and the rest via a feeding tube. Hopefully she'll start to pick up soon and both big and little ballast will be out of hospital by the end of the week! :) In the meantime I'm spending an awful lot of time between Gillingham and Sittingbourne and the parking at the hospital is costing me an arm and a leg but I think I've sussed out a few methods for parking for free :)
  24. I have a full set of standard studs mate. PM if interested :) (probably be collection only due to the weight but we can discuss that if you like )
