  1. I had a similar problem a while back, tubby #2 was coming in late, and when it did it was 'violent' as if the turbo wasn't pre-spooling properly. Having investigated the plumbing, I discovered that one of the pipes on the EGBV actuator has rotted off (the worst pipes to reach!). See the 2 pipes coming off the actuator (#5) here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=13950&d=1112559186 Having replaced the pipe with the aid of my dad (a mechanic) and plenty of swearing, its been fine since.
  2. Any ideas on P+P within the UK?
  3. Yes they are very good. I've PM'd you their contact details Babe.
  4. They should replace ASBO's with either (a) several punches to the face, or (b) a public stoning that lasts a week. You can't fight crime with nancy-pancy-softy-softy deterrents. Yeah, that'll teach him!
  5. Thats because you've not T-cutted it yet
  6. I think it was around an additional £40 at the time mate, though this may vary from installer to installer. If you have the 650P, the alarm does support the clifford turbo timer and you wont need a new remote.
  7. Anyone who sells/fits clifford alarms should be able to provide you with one, but confirm with them beforehand that your model of clifford does support this addon. Im not sure if its something you'll be able to fit, or if they (clifford installer) insist on fitting it for you. You may also need a new remote fob, again depends on the model of clifford you have.
  8. I dont think you can run a 3rd party turbo timer with a clifford alarm. You can however get a clifford turbo timer added to your alarm as an optional extra - well you can on some models anyhow like the 650P Concept.
  9. Looks like they opted for 'saving private ryan' level of violence, can't wait till it comes out, I will definitely go watch it at the cinema.
  10. Its looks to be in better condition than mine and I'm BPU... I'd better start saving those pennies for a new one
  11. Im going to try it on my Alhambra, couple of car park dents on it. You can buy air dusters from the likes of PCWorld and ebay.
  12. Havent some members on here with stock JDMs seen 320 on dyno's to disprove the 280 myth? ...or did I just dream that? I don't think I did dream that, as if I had there would have been ninja's, sexy women and explosions also

    More tax...

Hopefully that balloon will be tied around Gordon Browns neck and it will be over a very deep part of the ocean somewhere.
  14. I've PM'd you the contact info for "Cool Wheels" Harvard. The chap who works there knows his stuff.
  15. Im actually gettting my Air Con regassed by a pro ("Cool Wheels" in St. Helens this week). The type of connection denotes the kind of gas used. If the connection is like an oversized bike tyre (ie: threaded on the outside) then it uses the old gas (which is now banned), but there is a substitute though it costs around £85 for a re-gas as its a slower process. If you have a connection that looks like a quick release collar (i.e. not threaded on the outside) it should use the later gas which I believe to be R134a...which is around the £50-60 for a re-gas. From what I've read on the forums, there should be a sticker somewhere in the engine bay that specifies the gas used. If your unsure, best taking it to a pro.
  16. Yes mate. :: Air Conditioning Measure & Charge :: Air Con Cleaner
  17. Yes it is - takes about 10 minutes to do.
  18. ...the damp dog that was living in my air con that is Went to Halfrauds, bought some Comma Air Con Cleaner and let it do its business. Then went for a 60 mile blast up/down the M6 to make sure it was definitely gone...and lo and behold no more damp dog Well worth the £11 I spent.
  19. Might be an idea to post either your contact number or the number of the police station you reported the car stolen to. If you do the latter, it would help if you have some kind of 'crime reference number' that can be mentioned to the police should anyone see the car or know of any bits that are off it. It would be quicker that way should someone be 'out and about' and come across it or information about it, rather than having to wait till they get home and post on these forums.
  20. Just make sure you dont land it on its roof incase theres a fire like posted awhile back. Have you ever seen many 'Amuse' tuned supras whilst you've been browsing the auctions Jurgen? (not that Im looking for one - just curious)
  21. I think the whole army thing has been a PR stunt. Lets face it, he was thick as pig sh*t at school and was going to end up a 'bum' royal who lives off the tax payer. Can't imagine a royal stacking the shelves at Asda can you? He joined the army knowing full well he wouldnt be sent to war. Ditto to the 'red flag to a bull' comment above though if he did - which he never will.
  22. ...because it would be the only chance he'd get to "do it"
  23. Your welcome, though Pete is the 'daddy' really since he was the chap responsible for partially converting the instructions. Without them my Blitz MD gauges would be fitted on my dash...still in their box lol
  24. Yes I agree it does if done right, my comment was aimed at the 'end result' of the car in question as opposed to the abflug kit itself.
  25. Welcome to the forum mate, is it NA or TT? EDIT: I swear to god no-one had posted before I started my post - some people must have keybinds!
