Warning to all.....some european breakdown companies only ask for your license plate and assume the manufacturer date will correspond to that. Obviously with an import it won't. This will make them thinking that you have a 2 year old car whereas it may be 12 years old and will invalidate any cover provided (it costs extra for cars of 11 years old). Go with Direct Line as it costs £15 for 2 days of breakdonw cover regardless of age. Do Sky's policies extend to Europe anyone?

Should be don't worry Paul has a decision been made to the alternative extensions to the trip (Amiens....etc)? I am gonna write a plan of all that I am doing and bringing lol I have also checked up on Shell garages in France. Its not too good tbh but there is one in Calais

Well I would first take the dash apart and make sure the speedo has no loose plugs or anything and while you're at it check what speed conversion you have. Someone will be able to help probably with this knowledge

I used to have a flamer on my last car. Its a simple as overfuelling with a live spark plug in the exhaust and you can see amazing results. I saw one Evo spitting 10 foot fireballs as below......

Had the same problem! I used a combination of a hairdryer to get the pad off and the AutoGlym tar remover to break down the glue. WOrks fine but your nails will hurt after.....

So he wants to go from 180 top end to 300? Why? I am the other way round!!! It is difficult to read an accurate speed when the distance is so small on a 300km/h dial......

I use mostly TurtleWax but have AutoGlym window polish and some other chrome polisher. Fantastic results every time which is the main thing and for affordable rates
