  1. It was a proper seal, I bought it myself from Mr. T. The question is, can the seal be removed without taking the screen out and if I take the screen out can I reuse the seal?
  2. It looks all wrong on the auto stick. imo
  3. Do you actually need these 2? 62383-14030 WEATHERSTRIP,ROOF SIDE RAIL,LH 62384-14030 WEATHERSTRIP,ROOF SIDE RAIL,RH These are not rubber, it's the metal the rubber fixes onto.
  4. That's nonsense m8 Go here http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/toyota-supra-ignition-components-toyota-p-1552.html Phone and order though as last time I phoned the postage and packaging calculator was messed up. Just for the reckoning Toyota do sell the plug separately but even with the 20% discount I get from Toyota it's still cheaper from Whifbitz.
  5. Question. Are you using the side lights built into the headlamp as an indicator?
  6. What a muppet! Lol. Bet you felt like a first class c**k.
  7. Is it not the external temperature sensor?
  8. In theory it shouldn't be hard to make a run off. I think if I was going to make a run off I'd do it like roof guttering, you could even fix a wide girth rubber hose in place in the engine bay that the gutter would drain into when the bonnet was shut.
  9. I think my exhaust is fine.
  10. Pipe to the intake is different because he/she couldn't weld the dump valve to the standard rubber pipe. I suspect the smic is standard or a stock replacement. Unless you're going single turbo the stock type ic is all you need, anything else is just bling. imo
  11. Sorry James, I'm not meaning to rain on your bonnet as it it is, I'm just saying if you want to channel the water collected away you would have to funnel the water into some pipes and doing so narrow the bonnet vents into collectors, thus ruining the heat extraction that the bonnet is giving you. So you either keep the vents open and functional or not. But isn't cold rain landing on your engine helping with cooling?
  12. The wobble at 70 that you see I'd guess is at the sides as you can't see the front so fitting the proper latches will do nothing. imo what are the holes in the bonnet doing??? Letting heat out from under the bonnet? So the stock water cooling and fan system isn't sufficient? If it was me and the water marks bothered me, I think I'd junk the bonnet or seal off the holes, lets face it, they're not really doing anything are they.
  13. So it's one of the following. 1. I have a boost leak. 2. My turbo's are shot.
  14. I have first and second Chris Wilson dc pipes and a Blitz Nur spec R.... So no.
  15. I've been running the car for the past four months with the second cat in, car runs fine boosting on a normal day between .8 and .9 hitting 1 to 1.1 bar when the air is at it's best. If I take out the second cat and put the decat with 1.1 RR in it makes no difference at all, boost is the same only noticable thing is that the turbo's spin up fast. So I thought I'd junk the RR and try it straight through and.... it makes no difference. No boost creep and no drama. It does seem to accelerate faster on the second turbo without the cat but why is my boost so static? I seem to remember in my early days of ownership, when flooring it, it used to squat down a lot more than it does now. Any ideas?
  16. read my previous post, I had the exact same button. Did the original bumper have parking sensors? Dug my old one out. This it? http://a.imageshack.us/img832/2852/dsc00393l.jpg
  17. It switches off the front laserline park sensor. Stops it beeping at rain. If you have a laserline and an aerotop, arm the alarm with the normal button then press the panic button straight afterwards to disable the internal sensors.
  18. Nope, that's an aftermarket dump valve.
  19. I'm sorry but is this world really that nuts? You murderd someone because you're mental, but you're ok now.... I'm not interested. Put the rope around your neck and stand there, this will only hurt for a second...
  20. This is the easy route m8 http://www.motocare.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=85&category_id=406&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1 silver or black plastic coated. I might even be kind enough to chuck you a trd badge if you don't like the zun one.
  21. The key under the bonnet is to turn the siren down/off. If when you shut the car and press the alarm it gives of something like 4/5 beeps something is not registering as shut. Lift the bonnet and hold down the bonnet closure sensor, probably looks like a black plastic button with brass surround located at the front most likely. Now lock the car, if you don't get the beeps, then the bonnet isn't holding it down enough.... probably not shut properly.
  22. I really opened the door for that one.
