They're definitely both boys, had them checked out about a month after we got them as Spike suddenly grew and Oz (the mental one) didn't... had thought maybe Spike was a Spikette but he's not. When we bought them the shop recommended we get two boys, but after a few fights and two trips to the vets the vet said they should be apart as two males never get on.

He's not allowed to exercise for 2 weeks, vet said we had to take his wheel and ladders out! Doh! Bad timing on my part!

One of my sprog's dwarf hamsters seems to have gone a bit mental, he's running around like a complete loony-tune. He hurt his leg last week and the vet cost me £85 quid so don't fancy a return visit if they're gonna tell me that's what they do sometimes. They're only 3 months old and we've never had them before... apparently they've just reached sexual maturity, so guess that could be it... the other hamster is still quite sane though! Any ideas?

Oh dear... Self-pampering stuff then. Go to Clarins and buy her a gift basket of nice stuff to open on the day, and shove a voucher in it for treatments, or the spa day previously mentioned. Huge bouquet of flowers always works a treat too, as does posh breakfast in bed!
