    My supe

Cheers Supra-man Phew - thought I needed a respray! Pink being my least favourite colour in the whole spectrum As you say it is a nice deep red and polished regularly, although I have just found that the Flash gun thingy washing watsit is brilliant for a quick clean.

    My supe

Ok, so what's with the pink? On my comp. it's deffinitely a very clean and gleaming red.

    My supe

Cheers Pete. Specs are - RZs tt manual facelift - completely unmolested as she came out of the factory. Cheers for the compliments guys. Just thought I would share...

    My supe

At last! Picture of my supe for all to see.
  5. I know there are many debates about this, but I do like the lines without the wing - if Aston and Ferrari can do without wings (and they do have similar lines) why cant we sort out the aerodynamics to make the supe good without the wing?

    Is red really red?

Interesting question - mine is most definitely not the same red as most red supes - in a line up of several reds mine is really bright compared to the others - and its stock colour - so, I would say the colours vary
  7. Little dots could be tree sap - this time of year, don't park anywhere under or too near to trees...its horrid stuff.

    Tyres

Thank you gentlemen, I will now resume my search for some decent rubber at sensible prices. Cheers.
  10. I know this sounds daft, but do you have two 245/45 16 and two 225/50 16 - I know the T1S's and like em - failing that what decent rubber in 16's do you have for similar money?

    Tyres

Just noticed something - whilst getting tyre sizes to fit new - Is this correct I have 225/50 16 on the front and 245/45 16 on the rear?? Should they both be 45's. Last set that I had put on the front went by the previous size tyres. Please advise.
  12. Digsy got it about rite - Brakes is for stopping and gears is for going. The lesson here is - It's cheaper to replace a set of break pads than a clutch - I would suggest u start using yer brakes. Ever thought about taking an advanced driving test or even just some lessons, it does improve ones driving skills - for the road!
  13. I can do 4.5.6 and 7 hundred miles in a day or two and never get spotted, so I wouldn't bet too much on it.
  14. Have a great time, and remember - Wear sunblock:cool: Do something which scares you every day:devil: The latter shouldn't be too hard. Have fun guys and mind them French Police, they don't like it up em you know! Kip.

    Another Sad Day

Sorry to hear that, after having two of my own and having to give them up, I sort of know how you must be feeling. Long shot, but what about Bristol Uni - do they not have a specialist equine centre?
  17. Weymouth sea front there is an Italian ice cream parlour called Rossi's - the most amazing vanilla ice cream ever - and get this - No dairy products in it!! how does that work? worth tracking them down if ever your that way. Other than that - Vanilla white Magnum.
  18. Supra star. Nice to hear someone else is feeling depressed and I'm not alone - shall we start a club? Must be the weather!!
  19. Well, we have had rain and clouds this AM and its bright but cloudy at the moment and very windy. Will they ever get it right??

    Car Tax

sorry to hijack, but on the subject of road tax, I had to tax mine at the end of April to begin May OK so far. Went to the post office to tax it four days early, made out the cheque for £170 as stated on the renewal/invoice notice. Only to be told it's gone up to £175, so as I said but I have the renewal notice which clearly states £170 not £165 or £175 but £170 and that's what I shall pay - only to be told that the PO have had a memo round for oiks like me that bring this into question - refer to the DVLA - which I was told could take weeks, would sir like a SORN. How pissy was I How can they get away with it when it quite clearly stated I had to pay £170?? Sorry for hijack and rant over.
  21. Know what your talking about Pete Had to get the bug spray out last night at home, fekkin big mosquito looking things. So its all your fault they're migrating to Edgmond?
  22. Welcome flipper, nice looking machine. Not surprised you want a different spoiler though - Try Nic, he had some nice TRD reps. up for grabs a while back. B carefull at Aulton Park - a TT is a totally different animal to the N/A. have fun, enjoy the summer.

    bmw m3

I hear the 'Vanos' system being mentioned - think this was nicked from Honda who call it Vtec as you are probably aware - they get 160 bhp from a little 1600cc engine and 200bhp from and 1800cc and nearly 300 from a 2500cc N/A as standard - so ze Germans aint so clever after all. But being Japanese car fans you all knew this anyway - right?
