not 100% sure about mac's but can you delete the partition then make, make a fresh partition then format? formatting will miss the bad sectors out. this maybe what your software will do anyway good luck with it mate
  6. 2 1/2 years for me, put 30k on it had loads of problems with wishbones, but put that down to bloody speed humps everywhere used to go over 19 in 4 miles to get to work everyday so about 45 humps a day. not a day i haven't loved having it though. only 5 days and i get to drive it again after 4 weeks without her. what a christmas present :D

    IT Help

19 bad sectors are nothing they can come shipped with way more than that sometimes. there are thousands and thousands of sectors it could very well be a virus. there is one that i had once that gave me 3 minutes after a reload to connect to internet download a piece of software and install before it shut down. it stored itself away on the hard drive or memory or something forgot how many attempts it took me. do an update on your virus checker and see if that helps. allthough i am not saying it isn't the bad sectors but unlikely
  8. iv'e got one its yours for the right money, its just gone up by 2 grand though
  9. have heard n/a's being called single turbo's a lot. don't know where it comes from. probably makes some n/a owners feel better
  10. hi gaz, how long for delivery?
  11. i couldn't get one even close so i cleaned it with thinners superglued it then put some silicone around it. been there 6 months andits still ok
  12. believe me, i am going to take so much time i'm taking a sleeping bag with me
  13. no painting today, electric went out in garage outbuilding ok, so been prepping bumper, inside and outside of bonnet etc. will spray those tomorrow and do the shell and doors monday. good news is everything is ready and not a mark insight, i never want to see any sandpaper again in my life, hands are bleeding from blisters and cracking. the sand and buff can wait till after christmas posted by keron now you tell me
  14. thanks for advice just finished priming (with 2k this time) tested a piece earlier doing various things to see what i did wrong and it only reacted when i drenched it in paint, so to quick between coats allthough did wait stated time will leave another 10 minutes this time around. so far so good though. think it might be a few degrees cooler than the stupid thermometer is saying as well, which i believe will effect the flash time. anyway the real test will be tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed for me
  15. used a black guide coat, the marks are not in filler its the feathering, but i understand what you are saying, allthough it was flattened back again after first attempt as well, and didnt show after the first time, didnt do doors as the lot needed re-doing so will put them on this time
  16. hi mate, it took about a 10 days but that was due to the bodykit being the biggest load of crap ever, but other than that it took just over 2 days. ps. paint it black, much easier
  17. yes they can mate, at least on a j spec, you will need two bolts to get hub off. (think they were 6mm) to act like pulley's
  18. cheers mate, glad you replied has given me that bit of confidence, that i am getting it right. have just left it today give it time to harden as much as possible, and got on with prepping everything else, finished inside doors, and boot. had a feeling it was the to much to quick, kinda got carried away with myself. and i was using cheap primer apparrantly, didn't know there was a 2k. blame paint shop for that one as they knew the score (first time etc.) and told them i wanted best of everything. but lesson learnt pretty confident know though, gonna flat it back but keep a layer of clear then thin layer of primer and away i go oh and test a bit first
  19. cheers mate just not sure what to go for not sure if it will take more layers on top or to take it right back down. its got 15 coats on now applied over last 3 days
  20. don't know mate, and out of the question, would be a right kick in the bo**ocks if i don't do it myself.
