  1. Can i tag along to the ring, let me know the details if you can.
  2. Thats a mess sk, i think someone was looking after you and your pals that day, after i had a misshap( nothing too bad) it was either sell up or learn to drive the car, so my m8 booked us in on a trackday with driver tuition, well i got the bug and after a dozen trackdays or so in wet and dry conditions it really sharpens up the driving skills, so my message is" lets get on the track.":D
  3. Rayman - Was on the Midlands Gumball mate in August. Went round a long right hand corner following another 2 supras, was only doing about 25-30mph, felt it bite a little, managed to regain it, auto box then changed down, revs kicked in and it span 180 degrees up onto the verge. Hi sheef, i was in front of you that day, it was a dodgey corner anyway, i think i went through @ around 40 with no issues, i dont think even rlt would have done much for you tho if you wernt actualy accelerating around the bend.I would get the geometry looked at, that can make a big difference with handling, look forward to a trackday next year, i will let you know when we are booking 1.
  4. or move the triangle shaped plate underneath, 4 bolts,, easy:)
  5. Its due for a change and i cant find any info anywhere, oh the cars done 80k, cheers in advance.
  6. If you have a compass its fairly easy, as long as your clever wife didnt adjust the elevation,, on your compass find 23 degrees east of south and thats the digital astra satellite, you will need somone at the tv to shout when you get it, good look.

    Engine Oil

I used to use valvolene but after a 1200 mile trip through france last year the oil was shot( black and smelled burnt) , i do a few trackdays in my car and the silkolene pro s seems to hold up pretty well with high temps, do a search on here theres some really good write ups by oilman about synthetics and stuff.

    Engine Oil

Why do you want to use that oil anyway, silkolene is far better as its a true synthetic
  9. 1994 TOYOTA SUPRA 3.0 Turbo 3dr Auto Liftback (private) 77,000 miles Petrol 3 Door Hatchback Manual, 77,000 miles, Supra Mk.IV 3L Twin Turbo Jap Import AUTO. 1994 "L" Silver. This is no ordinary Supra, believe me. One of only two Supras in the world to run the Motec M800 racing engine management £18,500
  10. You wont normally see your maximum boost in lower gears i,e 1st and 2nd as there isent enough load on the engine, you will always see more boost in higher gears or going uphill which obviously puts more load on the engine.
  11. I Thought We Had To Use It At The Begining Of Every Word:D
  12. Sick looking j spec, painted green, anyone on here?
  13. Hi pete, i`m also looking for something like this as i dont really want anymore seperate gauges scattered around the car, i was looking at the blitz colour but dont know anyone that has 1 installed, let me know what you go for.
  14. Hi, after a decent 19 row oil cooler kit with built in stat/ gauge sender plate and braided hoses, cheers simon.
  15. I moved my oil pressure sender into the lexus bolt mod and it reads around 1 bar lower on cold start and at high revs, so i think thats the best place for it.
  16. Ive got mine mounted on a loft aerial bracket then fold the back seat down and fixed to that, so its just behind the driver, i had to stabilise it with some little gide rope wires to stop it wobbling to much, does the trick and is fairly secure.

    Track Day

jesus those tyres look like they took some abuse, i dont think you would get many trackdays out of them and still be useable on the road, expensive game isent it, good look with the car and let us know when the next trackday is.
  18. its all in the mind, mine feels faster after ive cleaned it, no, it could be down to a better spark and a healthier electrical system, going out to get a new battery then.
